Glasgow Cocktail Week will close its ninth year with a rooftop party at SiSi on the top floor of The Social Hub on Sunday 4 October, as Edinburgh favourite Hey Palu makes its debut at the Glasgow venue. Founded in 2019 by husband-and-wife team Alex Palumbo and Rachel Bailey Palumbo, Hey Palu is an Italian-inspired cocktail bar on Edinburgh’s Bread Street. Known for its warm hospitality, aperitivo cocktails and extensive collection of amaro, the bar was named among the UK’s Top 50 Cocktail Bars for 2026.

For the closing party, Hey Palu has teamed up with SiSi’s head bartender to create a menu spanning tequila serves, spritzes and twists on cocktail classics. Both bars will serve four drinks from 7pm until close.

Hey Palu’s menu features a Yuzu Margarita with Patrón Blanco, yuzu and lime; a Cherry Rosita with Patrón Blanco, sour cherry, French bitter and rose vermouth; and a Tequila Martini with Patrón Blanco, St-Germain, elderflower, fino sherry and lemon verbena oil. Its Orchard Spritz combines St-Germain, peach vermouth, apricot and white grape soda.

SiSi’s four creations include Ya Like Jazz?, made with Patrón, piment d’Espelette, pineapple liqueur and pineapple hot honey, alongside BC Boogie with Johnnie Walker Black Label, banana cordial, lime and cherry soda. Rum Pum Pum Pum Plum combines Brugal 1888, Campari, Cocchi di Torino and spiced plum cordial, while Basil Crush is made with Ben Lomond Gin, strawberry and lemongrass cordial, basil and ginger ale.

The Glasgow Cocktail Week closing party takes place at SiSi on Sunday 4 October from 7pm until close, with DJs providing the soundtrack throughout the evening. Everyone is welcome to attend, while Glasgow Cocktail Week wristband holders will receive £2 off cocktails.

The event forms part of Glasgow Cocktail Week 2026, which has more than 65 venues running special cocktail menus, events and masterclasses across the city from Thursday 24 September until Sunday 4 October.

Established in 2018, the independently run and female-founded festival celebrates Glasgow’s hospitality industry through exclusive drinks, city cocktail trails, masterclasses, parties and special events. Glasgow Cocktail Week wristbands unlock £2 off exclusive festival cocktails at participating venues, alongside access to selected events and experiences.

Scanlon’s new show will air between Trevor Nelson and Jo Whiley each weekday, with the presenter describing the opportunity as “properly exciting”. She said: “Millions of people, all having completely different days, piling into the same conversation for a few hours – what a strange and lovely thing!” Scanlon added that she wants listeners to bring their stories, opinions and everyday moments to the programme, whether they are on the school run, heading home from work or making dinner.

Helen Thomas, Head of Radio 2, said Scanlon had proved popular with listeners during her summer stint on Drivetime and described the show as an important part of helping audiences move from the working day into their evenings.

Scanlon previously presented Radio 2’s Sunday early breakfast show between 2018 and 2021 and has also covered programmes for presenters including Steve Wright. She later joined Virgin Radio UK for Weekend Breakfast in 2024. Her television work has included The One Show, Robot Wars, Your Home Made Perfect and Strictly Come Dancing, while in 2026 she has co-hosted the BBC’s Eurovision coverage with Rylan and fronted The Apprentice: Unfinished Business.

Ben Earle will become the new presenter of The Radio 2 Country Show, which airs on Thursdays from 9pm to 10pm. Earle, one half of country duo The Shires, succeeds Bob Harris, who stepped down from the programme earlier this year due to ill health after presenting it since 1999.

It will not be Earle’s first time behind a Radio 2 microphone. He previously filled in for Harris on the Country Show in 2019, with that run leading to him receiving the CMA International Country Broadcaster of the Year Award in 2020. He has also spent the past five years hosting a Sunday morning programme on Absolute Radio Country. Speaking about the new role, Earle said it felt like he was “coming home” to the show and said he was looking forward to speaking with international artists while also finding new UK country talent.

Helen Thomas said Earle’s experience as both a musician and radio presenter, alongside his knowledge of country music, made him the right person to follow Harris.

Ellie Taylor Also Joins Radio 2’s Autumn Schedule

The autumn changes also include Ellie Taylor, who has begun presenting Emma Willis’ Saturday lunchtime show from 1pm to 3pm while Willis hosts Strictly Come Dancing. Taylor started in the slot on Saturday, 26 September and will continue throughout the autumn and winter. She also begins presenting Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two from Monday, 28 September.

The changes come as Radio 2 heads into the final months of 2026 with a weekly audience of 12.4 million, according to RAJAR figures for the second quarter of the year.

For CultureCues, Angela Scanlon feels like a natural fit for Drivetime after already getting the chance to try out the slot over the summer. She has always been great at that mix of quick humour and easy conversation, so giving her the full weekday show makes a lot of sense. Ben Earle taking over the Country Show also feels like a strong move, especially with his background in The Shires and years of presenting country radio already behind him. Radio 2’s autumn schedule is getting a pretty sizeable refresh.

Sadie Sink has won Best West End Debut Performer at The Stage Debut Awards 2026 for her performance as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at London’s Harold Pinter Theatre. The Stranger Things star received the award at the ceremony on Sunday, 27 September at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, following her West End debut opposite Noah Jupe as Romeo. Unlike the other categories at this year’s awards, the Best West End Debut Performer winner was decided entirely by a public vote.

Sadie Sink Wins for Romeo and Juliet

Sink made her West End debut as Juliet in the new production of Shakespeare’s tragedy, starring opposite Jupe, who was also shortlisted in the same category for his performance as Romeo. The Stage praised Sink’s performance as a highly strung and emotionally charged Juliet, with the production presenting the pair as a young couple whose story takes a different approach to the familiar tragedy.

Sink faced a sizeable shortlist that also included Levi Brown for Cyrano de Bergerac, Brendan Gleeson and Kate Phillips for The Weir, Liv Hill for 1536, Cormac McAlinden for Inter Alia, Ntombizodwa Ndlovu for Marie and Rosetta, Alistair Nwachukwu for The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind and Arti Shah for Paddington the Musical.

The Award Was Decided by the Public

Best West End Debut Performer is particularly notable because it is the only award at The Stage Debut Awards decided entirely by a public vote, giving theatre audiences the final say on the winner.

Sink follows Rachel Zegler, who won the category in 2025. Previous winners have also included Jodie Comer for Prima Facie, Rose Ayling-Ellis for As You Like It, Jack Wolfe for Next to Normal and Aidan Turner for The Lieutenant of Inishmore.

The win adds another major stage achievement for Sink, who is best known to television audiences as Max Mayfield in Stranger Things. Her appearance in Romeo and Juliet marked her first West End performance, with both Sink and Jupe making the shortlist despite neither having formal drama-school training.

For CultureCues, we love seeing Sadie Sink getting recognition for something completely different from the role so many people know her for. Taking on Juliet for a West End debut is already a huge challenge, and winning the one award decided directly by audiences makes it an especially lovely way to mark that first London stage run. With Noah Jupe also nominated alongside her, Romeo and Juliet clearly made an impression. Not exactly a tragic ending for this particular Romeo and Juliet story.

The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards took over the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, 27 September, with Madonna and Taylor Swift among the biggest winners of the night.
Elsewhere, BTS won Song of the Year for “Swim” as well as Best K-Pop and Best Group, while Sienna Spiro was voted Best New Artist and LISA won Best Pop for “Dream” featuring Kentaro Sakaguchi.

Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the ceremony also featured performances from Madonna, LISA, RAYE, Sienna Spiro, Shaboozey, GENER8ION and Yung Lean.
Taylor Swift also had a major night, winning Video of the Year for “The Fate of Ophelia” and Best Direction for “Opalite”. She was also presented with the inaugural Artist Director Honors before premiering the music video for her new track “Patient Zero”.

BTS picked up three awards, winning Song of the Year and Best K-Pop for “Swim”, as well as Best Group.

For CultureCues, this year’s VMAs gave us plenty to celebrate. Madonna walking away with seven awards feels very well deserved, especially when Confessions II has been such a banger, and seeing her take Artist of the Year as well as Best Album and Best Dance made it a huge night for her. Taylor Swift adding another Video of the Year win to her collection almost feels inevitable at this point, while we also loved seeing Sienna Spiro take Best New Artist and BTS pick up three awards. Plenty of Moon Persons found new homes in LA.

Sugababes have announced their new self-titled album, marking the first full studio record from original members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy since their debut One Touch in 2000. Sugababes will be released on Friday, 12 February 2027 and features 12 new tracks, including newly released single “Ghost”. The trio have spent years rebuilding their original line-up and returning to live stages together, and the new record now gives them their first complete album as Mutya, Keisha and Siobhán in more than two decades.

What Have Sugababes Said About the New Album?

Announcing the record, the group said they deliberately took their time putting it together rather than rushing the process. They explained that as the songs, sound and wider project developed, calling the album Sugababes became the natural choice because it felt “unmistakably us”.

The album artwork also brings things full circle, with photographer Liz Collins returning after previously shooting the cover of One Touch. The new record therefore reconnects the trio with the very beginning of Sugababes while also giving them a completely new collection of songs to take forward.

What Is the New Sugababes Single Ghost About?

Alongside the album announcement, Sugababes have released “Ghost”, one of the 12 tracks featured on the record. The song centres around relationships and the feeling of being unable to fully escape someone or something from the past. It follows the trio’s return to releasing new music together and gives fans another taste of what to expect from the self-titled album when it arrives next February.

What Is the Sugababes 2027 Album Tracklist?

“Peace & Love”
“Jungle”
“Ghost”
“Love Language”
“Modern Love”
“Shook”
“After All”
“Weeds”
“Plot Twist”
“Scorpio”
“Ain’t It Funny”
“Full Circle”

When Is the New Sugababes Album Released?

Sugababes will be released on Friday, 12 February 2027 and is available to pre-order now.

For CultureCues, this really does feel like a full-circle moment. We have loved seeing Mutya, Keisha and Siobhán back together over the past few years, and getting an entire new album from the original line-up after all this time is hitting every bit of our early-2000s nostalgia. One Touch was such a defining album of that era, so seeing the original trio back together with a completely new record 26 years later is pretty special. Safe to say, “you’re giving me an overload” feels very appropriate right now.

Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black will be celebrated with a special one-night-only concert in Camden this October, bringing together the album’s original producers, members of Amy’s band and a huge line-up of guest vocalists. Back to Black 20 takes place at the Roundhouse in London on Wednesday, 21 October, marking 20 years since the release of Amy’s second and final studio album. Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi will reunite for the event alongside Amy’s long-term musical director Dale Davis, producers Paul O’Duffy and p*nut, and Darcus Beese OBE.

When Is Amy Winehouse Back to Black 20 at the Roundhouse?

The one-off concert will take place at the Roundhouse in Camden on Wednesday, 21 October 2026. The evening will see musicians and collaborators who worked closely with Amy return to her home borough to celebrate the album two decades after its original release. Members of The Amy Winehouse Band taking part include Dale Davis, Nathan Allen, Troy Miller, Ade Omotayo, Hawi Gondwe, Robin Banerjee, Jim Hunt, Frank Walden, Henry Collins, Zalon Thompson and Xantoné Blacq, and Beth Morris.

Mark Ronson said he was “honoured” to celebrate Amy alongside Salaam Remi and the guest artists, adding that doing justice to the legacy of Back to Black would be the focus of the night. Remi said he was looking forward to hearing what the singers bring to their own versions of Amy’s songs.

Who Is Performing at Back to Black 20?

The guest vocalists have been selected by the album’s original producers and include Baby Rose, Corinne Bailey Rae, FLO, Jessie Reyez, Jorja Smith, Lianne La Havas, Nia Smith, Sasha Keable, Skye Newman and Yebba. Writer and producer p*nut will also take part, while The Amy Winehouse Band will provide the musical backing throughout the performance of Back to Black.

When Do Back to Black 20 Tickets Go on Sale?

Tickets for the Roundhouse concert go on general sale at 10am on Thursday, 1 October through Metropolis Music. There will also be an official artist presale. Fans can register for access through the Amy Winehouse Official Artist Store, with the current promotion offering a presale code to those who pre-order any of the Back to Black 20th anniversary editions by 12pm BST on Monday, 28 September. The promotion also states that no purchase is necessary, with full terms available through the official store.

Will the Amy Winehouse Back to Black Concert Be on TV?

Yes. The concert will be broadcast on BBC Two in late October as part of a night of programming celebrating Amy, as well as on BBC Radio 2 on Monday 26th October, 7-9pm within Jo Whiley’s show.

Is Back to Black Getting a 20th Anniversary Reissue?

UMR/Island will release new 20th anniversary editions of Back to Black on Friday, 23 October, just days before the anniversary of the album’s original release on 27 October 2006. The expanded editions will include unreleased demos, rare B-sides and Amy’s live performance at Paradiso in Amsterdam from 8 February 2007. They will also feature previously unseen photographs from original album photographers Mischa Richter and Alex Lake, alongside new liner notes from Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi. Back to Black, Amy’s deeply personal, lyrical and musical masterpiece, won five GRAMMY Awards and has sold well over 25 million copies worldwide.

For CultureCues, bringing the musicians and collaborators who actually worked with Amy back together feels like a fitting way to mark 20 years of Back to Black. Celebrating the album in Camden, with the original band and producers at the centre of the night, should make it feel especially personal. Two decades on, it feels like a thoughtful way to honour both the album and Amy’s lasting impact.

Back to Black 20 takes place at the Roundhouse in London on 21 October, with tickets going on general sale at 10am on 1 October.

Taylor Swift has announced new single “Patient Zero” for 25 September, alongside three limited collector’s edition CDs available for 24 hours.
Swifties, the countdown is over. Taylor Swift has announced that her brand new single “Patient Zero” will be released on Friday, 25 September, ending the mystery surrounding her countdown.

Visitors to Swift’s website had been met with a burgundy curtain, glittering lettering and a clock counting down to 2pm ET, prompting plenty of speculation over what she was preparing to announce. When the timer finally reached zero, Swift revealed “Patient Zero”, writing on Instagram: “I’ve been impatiently waiting to tell you that my brand new single ‘Patient Zero’ will be out on September 25 (!!!!!!!!!!!!)”

Swift has not shared further details about the song itself yet, but with only a few days between the announcement and release, fans will not have long to wait before hearing it. The announcement follows the mysterious activity on Swift’s website that had already sent fans searching for clues, with the countdown now confirmed to have been building towards new music.

Taylor Swift Launches Three “Patient Zero” Collector’s Edition CDs

Alongside the single announcement, Swift has released three collector’s edition CDs for pre-order through her official UK store. Each comes with a double-sided cover, with separate editions for the original song, an acoustic version and a piano version.

The three versions are:

“Patient Zero” CD with Double-Sided Cover – £4.49
“Patient Zero (Acoustic Version)” CD with Double-Sided Cover – £4.49
“Patient Zero (Piano Version)” CD with Double-Sided Cover – £4.49

In the US, each collector’s edition is priced at $3.99 through Swift’s official store. The CDs are available for 24 hours only, while supplies last. Each edition also comes with different artwork and disc designs, meaning collectors already have a decision to make, unless, of course, the answer was always going to be all three.

Image credit: © Taylor Swift /Press

For CultureCues, Taylor putting a mysterious countdown on her website was obviously going to have Swifties investigating every possible clue, and finding out there is a brand new single waiting at the end of it is a pretty good payoff. We only have three days to wait for “Patient Zero”, and getting acoustic and piano versions alongside it has already given us even more to look forward to. As for those three collector’s CDs? We fear Taylor knows her audience extremely well. Zero patience required this time.

Matthew Rhys has made Emmy Awards history after winning two lead acting prizes in the same night for Widow’s Bay and The Beast in Me. The Welsh actor took home Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance as Tom Loftis in Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay, having already won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for playing Nile Jarvis in Netflix thriller The Beast in Me. The wins made Rhys the first performer in Emmy history to win two awards for leading performances in the same year.

How Did Matthew Rhys Make Emmy History?

Rhys’ night became even more historic when his previous Emmy success was taken into account. He won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for The Americans in 2018, meaning he has now become the first performer to win lead acting Emmys across drama, comedy and limited series or movie.

His comedy win came during a huge night for Widow’s Bay. The Apple TV horror-comedy collected 14 Emmys across the main ceremony and Creative Arts awards, breaking the record for the most Emmys won by a comedy series in a single year. Rhys stars as Tom Loftis, the mayor of a cursed New England island attempting to keep the town going despite its supernatural problems.

Matthew Rhys in Widow’s Bay. Image Credit: © Apple TV

His role in The Beast in Me is very different. Rhys plays Nile Jarvis, a wealthy real estate heir suspected of murdering his first wife, opposite Claire Danes as writer Aggie Wiggs. The performance earned him his first award of the night before Widow’s Bay completed the double later in the ceremony.

The Beast In Me. Image credit: © Courtesy of Netflix

Matthew Rhys Gives Wales a Shout-Out During Emmy Speech

Rhys also used his Widow’s Bay acceptance speech to recognise his home country, thanking the people of Wales and describing it as a “small but mighty nation”. Speaking after the ceremony, the 51-year-old admitted he was still struggling to process what had happened, saying he had not expected the The Beast in Me win and was left “slightly giddy” after taking home both awards.

For CultureCues, winning one Emmy would be impressive enough, but winning two lead actor awards for completely different performances is quite something. Matthew Rhys has been brilliant for years, and becoming the first performer to complete the drama, comedy and limited-series lead acting sweep feels like a fitting record. We also loved seeing Wales get its moment in his speech. An incredible night for him all round.

Beverley Knight has earned praise following a powerful performance of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” at Last Night of the Proms 2026. The singer took to the stage at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Saturday night (12 September) as part of To Dolly, With Love, a special tribute celebrating the music of the late country legend. Knight was joined by Sheridan Smith and country-pop duo Ward Thomas for the three-song medley, backed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and the BBC Singers.

Smith opened the tribute with “9 to 5”, before Knight performed “I Will Always Love You” and Ward Thomas completed the medley with “Jolene”. The arrangement was created by Fiona Brice and formed part of the second half of this year’s Last Night of the Proms programme.

Knight’s rendition proved to be one of the most talked-about performances from the tribute following the broadcast. Viewers discussing the performance online have praised Knight’s vocals, with her appearance prompting renewed interest the morning after the concert.

The song has an interesting connection to Knight’s own career. Dolly Parton wrote and first released “I Will Always Love You” in 1974, before Whitney Houston transformed it into a worldwide hit with her recording for 1992 film The Bodyguard. Knight later starred as Rachel Marron in the West End production of The Bodyguard, a role built around Houston’s catalogue and featuring the song.

Saturday’s tribute came following Parton’s death in August at the age of 80. To Dolly, With Love was one part of a packed programme bringing the eight-week 2026 BBC Proms season to a close, with pianist Yuja Wang, Scottish tenor Nicky Spence and conductor Sakari Oramo also among those appearing at the Royal Albert Hall.

The concert concluded with the traditional Last Night favourites including “Rule, Britannia!”, “Jerusalem”, “Land of Hope and Glory” and “Auld Lang Syne”.

For anyone who missed Knight’s performance on Saturday night, Last Night of the Proms 2026 is available to watch again on BBC iPlayer. The BBC has confirmed that television broadcasts from this year’s Proms will remain available on iPlayer for up to a year after transmission.

Charli xcx has announced a new UK and European arena run for 2027 as part of her wider Music, Fashion, Film Tour, following a run of North American dates later this year. She will bring the tour to Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester and London next February before continuing into Amsterdam and Paris.

When Is Charli xcx Playing Glasgow?

Charli xcx will play the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Monday, 15 February 2027. The show comes two days after the European leg begins at Dublin’s 3Arena and forms part of a six-date run taking Charli through the UK and Europe. The Glasgow date is followed by Manchester’s Co-op Live on 17 February and London’s The O2 on 19 February, before the tour continues to Amsterdam and Paris.

Audrey Hobert will support Charli across all six dates.

When Do Charli xcx Tickets Go on Sale?

Tickets go on general sale at 9am BST on Friday, 18 September. Fans who pre-ordered Music, Fashion, Film from Charli’s official store during the qualifying period will receive first access to presale tickets. There is also an artist presale beginning at 11am BST on Wednesday, 16 September, with fans able to register through Charli’s official website until 5pm BST on Tuesday, 15 September.

What Is the Music, Fashion, Film Tour?

The tour follows the release of Charli’s eighth studio album, Music, Fashion, Film, which arrived earlier this year and became her second UK number one album of 2026. It also reached number three on the Billboard 200 in the US.

The North American leg begins in Philadelphia before continuing through cities including Brooklyn, Toronto, Boston, Washington, Atlanta, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and more, with underscores joining as special guest on those dates. The newly announced European run then takes over in February 2027.

For CultureCues, we had a feeling demand for Charli’s next UK run would be huge, so we love seeing arena dates confirmed for Glasgow, Manchester and London. The OVO Hydro date is especially good news for us Scots, and Audrey Hobert joining Charli as special guest across all six UK and European dates will make the tour even better. We would not be surprised to see tickets move quickly when presale opens, so you might want to Speed Drive your way into that queue.

Harry Styles has announced the 2027 leg of his Together, Together world tour, with a new run of stadium shows across North America and Europe before finishing with three nights at Wembley Stadium in London.

The European dates begin in Berlin in July before travelling to Paris, Madrid and Rome, followed by two huge shows at Croke Park in Dublin and three final nights at Wembley Stadium. Harry will be joined by a different special guest in each city, with Caroline Polachek, Feist, LCD Soundsystem, Baby Rose and Tears for Fears among the names joining him across Europe.

The announcement follows Harry’s 12-night Wembley run this summer, with the 2027 shows bringing him back to the stadium for the final three dates of the tour on 25, 27 and 28 August.

What Are Harry Styles’ 2027 European Tour Dates?

Harry’s European run begins with two nights at Flughafen Tempelhof in Berlin before heading through Paris, Madrid and Rome. He will then play two nights at Dublin’s Croke Park before closing the entire world tour with three Wembley Stadium shows in London.

2 July – Flughafen Tempelhof, Berlin – with Getdown Services
3 July – Flughafen Tempelhof, Berlin – with Getdown Services
16 July – Plénitude Arena, Paris – with Caroline Polachek
17 July – Plénitude Arena, Paris – with Caroline Polachek
30 July – Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium, Madrid – with Feist
31 July – Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium, Madrid – with Feist
7 August – Circus Maximus, Rome – with LCD Soundsystem
8 August – Circus Maximus, Rome – with LCD Soundsystem
18 August – Croke Park, Dublin – with Baby Rose
20 August – Croke Park, Dublin – with Baby Rose
25 August – Wembley Stadium, London – with Tears for Fears
27 August – Wembley Stadium, London – with Tears for Fears
28 August – Wembley Stadium, London – with Tears for Fears

The Wembley dates will be the final three shows of the 2027 tour, giving Harry another major London run after his 12-night residency at the stadium this year.

When Do Harry Styles London Tickets Go on Sale?

Tickets for Harry Styles’ three Wembley Stadium shows go on general sale at 11am BST on Thursday, 17 September. American Express Card Members will have access to a presale from 11am on Tuesday, 15 September, followed by the fan presale at 11am on Wednesday, 16 September.

Fans hoping to access the artist presale need to register in advance, with sign-up closing at 4.59am BST on Monday, 14 September. Registering gives fans access to the selected artist presales but does not guarantee tickets. For more information click here.

When Do Harry Styles Dublin Tickets Go on Sale?

Harry will play Croke Park in Dublin on Wednesday, 18 August and Friday, 20 August 2027, with Baby Rose joining him as special guest.

Ticketmaster currently lists presale access for the Dublin shows from 9am on Monday, 14 September, with ticket information available through Harry Styles’ official tour listings. Fans should check the ticket page for the latest availability and sale details before booking.

Who Is Supporting Harry Styles on the 2027 Tour?

Harry has put together a different guest line-up for each stop. Alongside the European guests, Tinashe will join him in Phoenix, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso in Dallas, Kylie Minogue in Los Angeles, Lainey Wilson in Toronto, Q Marsden in Atlanta and The Womack Sisters in Chicago.

Europe then brings Getdown Services in Berlin, Caroline Polachek in Paris, Feist in Madrid, LCD Soundsystem in Rome and Baby Rose in Dublin, before Tears for Fears join Harry for all three of the final Wembley Stadium dates.

Where Else Is Harry Styles Playing in 2027?

Before arriving in Europe, the Together, Together tour will travel across North America with stadium shows in Phoenix, Dallas, Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta and Chicago.

Tickets will roll out through different presales and general sales depending on the city, with North American sales beginning earlier in September. The European leg then takes over for July and August before the tour reaches its final night at Wembley on 28 August.

For CultureCues, three more Wembley shows after Harry has already played 12 nights there this summer is pretty huge, and finishing the entire tour in London makes those dates even bigger. The European guest list is also excellent, with Caroline Polachek, Feist, LCD Soundsystem and Baby Rose along the way before Tears for Fears join him at Wembley. We have a feeling tickets are going to move very quickly for this one. Together, Together… indeed.

Oasis are heading back to the big screen, with Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger arriving in UK cinemas on Wednesday, 9 September following its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Liam and Noel Gallagher attended the Venice premiere together, marking another major public appearance for the brothers following the Oasis reunion. Written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, the new film follows the band through the huge Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour, combining concert footage with rehearsals, backstage access and new interviews with Liam and Noel.

When Is Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger Released?

Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger is released on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, with cinema and IMAX screenings taking place this week. The film will also come to Disney+ later, although a streaming date has not been confirmed. For fans wanting to see the reunion tour on the biggest screen possible, cinemas will therefore be the first place to watch it.

What Is the New Oasis Documentary About?

The documentary follows Oasis Live ’25, the reunion tour that brought Liam and Noel Gallagher back together after years apart. The tour began in Cardiff during summer 2025 and went on to include 41 shows across the UK and Ireland, North America, Asia, Australia and South America before ending in São Paulo in November.

The film includes footage from rehearsals, backstage and on stage, as well as the first joint interviews with Liam and Noel in more than 20 years. It also looks at what the reunion meant to fans around the world and why Oasis still connects with audiences across different generations.

Steven Knight described the film as both a way into the live show and an opportunity to sit in on Liam and Noel speaking together again, with the brothers looking back at what happened between them and the journey that brought Oasis back. You can watch the official trailer for Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger below.

Video: Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger | Official Trailer via YouTube

Did Liam and Noel Gallagher Attend the Venice Premiere?

Yes. Liam and Noel both attended the world premiere of Don’t Look Back in Anger at the Venice Film Festival, giving fans another rare chance to see the brothers together away from the stage. Liam also shared a photo of the pair travelling by boat in Venice, with his fist in the air as they headed into the premiere. After years when seeing Liam and Noel together seemed unlikely enough, watching them arrive at a film festival for an Oasis documentary still feels slightly surreal.

Liam and Noel Gallagher at the world premiere of Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger at the Venice Film Festival.
Who Made Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger?

The documentary is written by Steven Knight and produced by Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley. Magna Studios produced the film, with Sony Music Vision presenting it in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK. The creative team also includes cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos, whose credits include Belfast and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, alongside editors George Cragg and Martina Zamolo. Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather and Tarn Willers are also part of the production.

When Will the Oasis Documentary Be on Disney+?

Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger is expected to come to Disney+ after its cinema release, but a streaming date has not been announced. For now, the documentary begins its UK release on 9 September, giving fans the chance to see the reunion tour, backstage footage and Liam and Noel’s new interviews in cinemas first.

For CultureCues, this feels made for a packed cinema. Oasis Live ’25 was such a huge moment, and the mix of rehearsal footage, backstage access and Liam and Noel sitting down together again makes it more than just a concert film. Seeing the brothers arrive together in Venice only adds to the excitement. We are very ready to go back to 2025 for one more night. Don’t look back in anger… we definitely won’t.

Dan Howell and Phil Lester are joining Taskmaster today, Saturday, 5 September, for a special appearance during its five-hour Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity livestream. The appearance comes as Taskmaster hosts a special online edition bringing together YouTubers and content creators for challenges while raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital’s new Children’s Cancer Centre.

When Are Dan and Phil on the Taskmaster Livestream?

Dan and Phil are expected to appear at around 7pm BST today, Saturday, 5 September. As the event is being broadcast live, the exact timing could move slightly depending on how the stream progresses.

Phil announced their involvement on Instagram, saying the pair will be judging a “questionable task”. Beyond that, there are no details about exactly what the challenge involves or how long Dan and Phil will be part of the stream, which feels fairly appropriate for Taskmaster.

How Do You Watch the Taskmaster GOSH Charity Livestream?

Taskmaster Live Stream: GOSH Charity Edition runs today from 5pm until 10pm BST and is being streamed online, including through the official Taskmaster YouTube channel and Twitch.

Alex Horne is hosting the event alongside comedian Jake Bhardwaj, with viewers also encouraged to donate throughout the stream to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Who Is Taking Part in the Taskmaster Charity Stream?

The main competition features 10 YouTubers and content creators taking on Taskmaster-style challenges in teams of two. The announced line-up includes TommyInnit, MatPat, Stephanie Patrick, Ayamé, Hayley Morris, Stephen Tries, BambinoBecky, Imogen Andrews, Rob Colfer and The Squid.

Dan and Phil are separate from that contestant line-up and are appearing during the event to judge one of the tasks. Other special guests are also expected to pop up throughout the five-hour broadcast.

What Is the Taskmaster GOSH Event Raising Money For?

All money raised through the livestream will support the development of a new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The new centre is being designed to bring specialist treatment, research and facilities together in one place for children receiving cancer care. Plans also include outdoor areas such as a roof garden, giving young patients access to fresh air and spaces away from the clinical environment during hospital stays.

Alex Horne recently visited Great Ormond Street Hospital ahead of the fundraiser to meet families currently going through cancer treatment and see how the money raised through the event will help.

Taskmaster Series 22 Has Also Just Started

It is a busy week for Taskmaster, with Series 22 beginning on Channel 4 on Thursday, 3 September. Chloe Petts, Isy Suttie, Matt Lucas, Nina Conti and Richard Ayoade are this year’s five contestants, with Greg Davies and Alex Horne back overseeing the competition.

Episode 2 airs on Thursday, 10 September at 9pm on Channel 4, with the 10-part series continuing weekly through to November.

For CultureCues, Dan and Phil judging a mysterious Taskmaster challenge was not something we had on our Saturday plans, but obviously we will now be watching. We will happily tune in for pretty much anything involving them, and we cannot wait to see what exactly makes this task “questionable”. Even better that it is all for such a good cause. We will see you around 7pm.

Dan and Phil are expected to appear on Taskmaster’s GOSH Charity livestream at around 7pm BST today, Saturday, 5 September.

Netflix has announced a new three-part documentary series about Matthew Perry, with The One About Matthew Perry arriving on the streaming service on 27 October 2026. The series will look at Perry’s life and career beyond his role as Chandler Bing in Friends, including his experiences with addiction and the way he spoke publicly about those struggles during his lifetime.

Perry’s sister, Mia Perry Bowick, will be one of the documentary’s main contributors, alongside lifelong friends and people who worked closely with him. The series will also include previously unseen photographs and videos from the Perry family’s private archive, giving viewers a more personal look at the actor away from the role that made him famous around the world.

What Is The One About Matthew Perry About?

Across three episodes, The One About Matthew Perry will trace Perry’s journey from rising comedy star to one of the most recognisable actors on television. He played Chandler Bing across all 10 seasons and 236 episodes of Friends between 1994 and 2004, becoming a favourite for millions of viewers through the character’s humour, sarcasm and vulnerability.

Image Credit: © Courtesy of NBC Universal

The documentary will also explore Perry’s private struggles with addiction, something he spoke about openly later in his life. Netflix says the series will combine memories from those closest to him with new details about his experiences, while Perry Bowick hopes it will help audiences see her brother as a whole person rather than only as Chandler or through the difficulties he faced.

Perry died in October 2023 at the age of 54.

Will the Friends Cast Appear in the Matthew Perry Documentary?

Netflix has not confirmed whether Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc or David Schwimmer will appear in The One About Matthew Perry. The streamer has said the series includes Perry’s lifelong best friends and creative collaborators, so the full list of contributors may be revealed closer to release.

Whether any of his Friends co-stars take part will naturally be one of the biggest questions for fans, given how closely Perry’s life and career remain connected to the sitcom and the cast he worked alongside for a decade.

Who Made The One About Matthew Perry?

The series is directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Mary Robertson, whose credits include Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV. Robertson said the documentary was made to allow the people who knew and loved Perry to share more about the person behind his public image, while also recognising both his comedy career and his openness about addiction.

The One About Matthew Perry is produced by Maxine Productions, part of Sony Pictures Television. Robertson, Lisa Kalikow, Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman serve as executive producers, with Lora Moftah as co-executive producer and Jessica Call as producer.

When Is The One About Matthew Perry Released on Netflix?

All three parts of The One About Matthew Perry will premiere on Netflix on 27 October 2026.

For CultureCues, this sounds like it could be a very emotional watch. Matthew Perry will always mean Chandler Bing to millions of Friends fans, ourselves included, but he was also very open about the difficult parts of his life and used his experiences to help others. Hearing from his sister, closest friends and the people who worked with him, alongside material from the Perry family archive, should give fans the chance to remember the person behind a character so many of us grew up loving.

Grand Theft Auto VI has somehow turned a 27-minute gameplay showcase into one of Netflix’s biggest releases this week. Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look pulled in 31.1 million views in four days, topping Netflix’s English-language film chart and reaching No. 1 in 87 of the 93 countries tracked globally.

The numbers are especially striking because the presentation was only exclusive to Netflix for six hours. Rockstar Games premiered the extended look on the streaming service on 27 August before releasing it on YouTube later that day, turning the showcase itself into a major streaming event.

Captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5, the 27-minute special gives players their longest look at GTA 6 so far, following Jason and Lucia through Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. The footage shows more of the pair’s relationship, the criminal world surrounding them and the trouble that follows when one of their plans goes wrong.

It also comfortably beat other major Netflix releases. The Whisper Man, starring Adam Scott, placed second on the English-language film chart with 23.2 million views, leaving GTA 6 almost eight million views ahead.

Netflix’s Brandon Riegg described Grand Theft Auto reveals as cultural events in their own right, with the platform seeing the partnership with Rockstar as an example of major storytelling from outside traditional film and television finding an audience on Netflix.

The huge response continues a run of record-breaking interest around Rockstar’s next game. Previous GTA 6 trailers have already generated enormous numbers online, but 31.1 million Netflix views for a gameplay presentation shows just how far anticipation for the game now stretches beyond dedicated gaming audiences.

For CultureCues, this is one of those numbers that makes you stop for a second. A 27-minute gameplay presentation becoming Netflix’s biggest title of the week, despite being exclusive to the platform for only six hours, is pretty wild. GTA 6 releases are basically pop-culture events at this point, and with the game finally arriving in November, we suspect this will not be the last ridiculous number attached to it.

Grand Theft Auto VI releases on 19 November 2026, while Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look is available to watch now.

Warning: Major spoilers ahead for the Love Is Blind: UK Season 3 reunion.

We need to talk about the Love Is Blind: UK Season 3 reunion, because we genuinely did not see this coming. After weeks of pod drama, arguments, disappearing acts, money conversations and some questionable moments, all four couples who got married are still together almost a year later. Yes, all four.

Sophie and Taylor, Ciara and Ajay, Faye and Jack, and Francesca and Joseph all returned for the reunion still happily married, and we genuinely could not believe it. Very happy for them, obviously, but shocked. There were at least a couple of those weddings where we were watching through our fingers wondering whether saying “I do” was actually a good idea, so finding out that every single marriage has survived beyond the experiment was probably the biggest surprise of the reunion.

Somehow, All Four Marriages Survived

Image Credit: Courtesy of Tom Dymond/Netflix © 2026

Sophie and Taylor being together was probably the least surprising reveal. They were one of the most settled couples throughout the experiment, and almost a year later they still look completely smitten. After Sophie was made redundant, the couple ended up moving south rather than Taylor relocating to Manchester, and they now live close to his family. They are talking about buying a house in the future and eventually having children, and even Sophie’s dad, who was very vocal about his concerns on their wedding day, is fully won over by Taylor.

Image Credit: Courtesy of Tom Dymond/Netflix © 2026

Ciara and Ajay were the bigger surprise for us. Their conversations around money and expectations became one of the main issues before the wedding, and at times it really did seem like they wanted different things from married life. But the look back at their year together was cute. They spent six months living in Melbourne before returning to London, are now living together in Ciara’s flat and are planning a huge traditional Indian wedding. Ajay speaking about Ciara as his wife, standing up for her and talking about how much she has brought to his life was especially sweet, and they clearly seem very happy together. It feels different from some of what we saw during the series, so yes, this one surprised us, but we are very happy for them.

Image Credit: Courtesy of Tom Dymond/Netflix © 2026

Francesca and Joseph are still together too, and this was one we were really happy about because we loved them throughout the series. The only real doubt came from Francesca’s family and whether they would be comfortable giving their blessing, so once Joseph had that conversation with her mum before the wedding, it felt like the final thing they needed. They are now still happily married, regularly spending time with both sides of their families, and are planning to marry again in the Catholic faith as well as have a traditional Nigerian wedding. We are very glad this one worked out.

Faye and Jack Might Have Surprised Us Most

Then we have Faye and Jack, and this was probably the biggest surprise of all. After the Find My Friends situation, Jack disappearing for hours after Faye’s birthday and leaving her unable to contact or locate him, we genuinely wondered whether their relationship could recover. Add his very late arrival on the wedding day and, honestly, we were shocked they both still said “I do”, never mind that they are still married almost a year later.

Image Credit: Courtesy of Tom Dymond/Netflix © 2026

But the glimpse at their first year of marriage showed a very different side to them. They looked genuinely happy, constantly laughing together and clearly much more relaxed than some of what we saw during the experiment. Faye’s social media since filming has also shown a much more playful, dorky side of her that really matches Jack’s personality, and seeing that makes it much easier to understand why they work so well together. Honestly, we would have loved to see more of that side of their relationship during the series.

They spent part of their first year travelling together, including trips to the Maldives and Thailand, and are now living with Faye’s parents in Guernsey. Faye also spoke about understanding Jack’s ADHD much better now and recognising when he needs some space, while Jack admitted he had work to do after letting her and her family down during the experiment. Even Faye’s parents have forgiven him, which might be the biggest character development of the entire season. We were very surprised, but after seeing them together at the reunion, we are genuinely very happy for them.

What Happened With Ryan and Cuba?

Image Credit: Courtesy of Tom Dymond/Netflix © 2026

Ryan and Cuba remain separated, and their reunion conversation was much harder to watch. Their relationship ended before the weddings after Cuba became increasingly unhappy with how little time they were spending together outside the pods. Ryan’s work regularly took him away, and even when he was back, Cuba felt she was still not getting the time or reassurance she needed from him. At the reunion, Cuba made it clear that she still felt hurt by the way things ended and said she had never felt so alone in a relationship. Ryan confirmed that he does not want to restart things and is happy being single for now. Cuba, meanwhile, said she is open to love but no longer actively looking for it.

And yes, the mango was mentioned. We could hardly have had a Season 3 reunion without revisiting Ryan quietly preparing fruit while his engagement was essentially falling apart around him.

Yasmin and Jordan Are Still Close

Image Credit: Courtesy of Tom Dymond/Netflix © 2026

Yasmin and Jordan also remain separated, although their story has had a much happier ending than we might have expected after they left the experiment. Both admitted that their relationship never quite developed the chemistry needed for marriage, with Jordan eventually deciding that he could not confidently walk down the aisle. They have since become very close friends and apparently still speak every day. Yasmin has been travelling, learning to DJ and continuing to study Arabic, while Jordan described her as one of his best friends. They may not have found the marriage they entered the pods looking for, but their friendship seems to have survived the whole thing surprisingly well.

One Surprisingly Happy Reunion

We went into the reunion expecting a lot more drama, but there really was not that much. Even with the two couples who are no longer together, the conversations were more awkward and emotional than hostile. Cuba was clearly still hurt by how things ended with Ryan, but she also said he is a nice person with a kind heart, while Yasmin and Jordan have somehow come out of the experiment as BFF’s.

There were a few tense moments. Ciara became emotional during the discussion around how she was shown on the series and the criticism she received for being demanding or pushing Ajay. The most tension came during the back and forth between Jack, Ciara and Ajay over what had happened earlier in the series, but even that never turned into a huge argument. It was more a case of crossed wires and different versions of events being cleared up than anything explosive. Chevanique also spoke about her connection with Joseph and the disagreement that happened before the wedding, but even that was quickly put to bed, with her saying Francesca and Joseph make a perfect couple. For a reunion we expected to be full of arguments, tea spilling and drama, it was actually mostly just very happy.

Image Credit: Courtesy of Tom Dymond/Netflix © 2026

It was also lovely to see a few familiar Love Is Blind: UK faces in the audience, including Season 1’s Bobby and Jasmine, who recently welcomed their first baby, and Season 2’s Kieran and Megan, who have since had a second wedding celebration. Seeing some of the couples from previous seasons still happy together was a nice reminder that, for all the drama the experiment creates, it really does work for some people.

For CultureCues, we genuinely cannot believe all four married couples made it. Sophie and Taylor always felt like the safest bet, and Francesca and Joseph seemed strong by the wedding, but Ciara and Ajay and especially Faye and Jack had us seriously questioning how things would look once the cameras stopped rolling. Seeing all four couples almost a year later, looking happy and talking about houses, travelling, families and even more weddings, was actually very lovely. We went into this reunion fully prepared for at least one divorce announcement and instead got four successful marriages. Love Is Blind: UK, you got us.

Big Brother is almost back for 2026, and this year viewers are getting even more time inside the house. The new series will run for an extended eight weeks, with AJ Odudu and Will Best returning as hosts and a brand-new companion show joining the schedule. ITV has not officially announced the exact launch date, but current reports point to Sunday, 13 September 2026, meaning we should be just weeks away from meeting this year’s Housemates. We are more than ready to see who walks through those doors.

The campaign for the new series is already well underway, with ITV releasing the first trailer and promising a house where “everything can change in the blink of an eye”. The biggest new announcement this week is Big Brother: The Group Chat, hosted by former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler and GK Barry, which will follow the main show Sunday to Thursday nights.

When Does Big Brother 2026 Start?

ITV has not formally confirmed the Big Brother 2026 launch date, but multiple reports currently point to Sunday, 13 September. Until ITV announces the schedule itself, that date should still be treated as expected rather than confirmed. Production information currently points towards a Thursday, 5 November finale, although ITV has not confirmed that date either. If the reported 13 September launch and 5 November finale prove correct, the series will run for almost eight full weeks.

The series will air on ITV2 and ITVX, with STV2 and STV Player available for viewers in Scotland. Big Brother usually airs every night apart from Saturdays, with the new eight-week run giving this year’s Housemates considerably longer in the experiment than in recent series.

What Is Changing for Big Brother 2026?

ITV is describing the new series as Big Brother’s biggest yet, with the house being “reimagined as a house of surprises”. Viewers have been promised unexpected twists, game-changing moments, ambitious tasks, high-stakes nominations and live evictions as a new group of strangers compete for the cash prize.

The first trailer arrived on 23 August with the warning: “If you think you know the game? Think again!” It also teased “a new house every week” and “fresh chaos daily”, so it sounds like Big Brother plans to keep both the Housemates and viewers guessing throughout the extended run.

AJ Odudu and Will Best will return to front the main show, having hosted Big Brother since ITV brought the format back in 2023. This year’s Housemates have not been announced, and as ever, we would expect ITV to keep the full cast under wraps until much closer to launch night.

What Is Big Brother: The Group Chat?

The biggest addition this year is Big Brother: The Group Chat, a new companion show hosted by Kate Lawler and GK Barry. It will air Sunday to Thursday immediately after Big Brother on ITV2, ITVX and YouTube, with episodes also released across major podcast platforms.

The show will cover the biggest moments from each night, with evicted Housemates, celebrity fans and special guests joining Kate and GK to discuss what is happening inside the house. Alliances, nominations, arguments, twists and whatever else Big Brother throws at the cast will all be up for discussion after the main episode.

For Lawler, the role brings things full circle more than two decades after she entered the house herself and won Big Brother Series 3 in 2002. “Big Brother has been a huge part of my life since I first stepped through those doors 24 years ago, so to now be returning in this role alongside the fantastic GK Barry feels like an exciting full-circle moment,” she said. GK Barry added: “I’ve been a massive Big Brother fan for years, so getting the chance to be part of the show in this way is genuinely a dream come true. And getting to do it alongside an iconic BB legend like Kate makes it even more exciting.”

How Long Will Big Brother 2026 Run For?

Big Brother 2026 will run for eight weeks, making it an extended edition of the ITV series. That gives the show much more time for relationships, rivalries and alliances to develop naturally inside the house.

For CultureCues, we are very ready to have Big Brother back. An eight-week series is great news because it gives us more time to actually get to know the Housemates before half of them disappear through the eviction doors. Kate Lawler returning to the Big Brother world alongside GK Barry also feels like a fun pairing for The Group Chat, especially with Kate having experienced the house herself. Now we just need the official launch date and, most importantly, this year’s Housemates… Big Brother is watching, and so are we!

Big Brother returns to ITV2 and ITVX this autumn.
