Sugababes have announced their new self-titled album, marking the first full studio record from original members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy since their debut One Touch in 2000. Sugababes will be released on Friday, 12 February 2027 and features 12 new tracks, including newly released single “Ghost”. The trio have spent years rebuilding their original line-up and returning to live stages together, and the new record now gives them their first complete album as Mutya, Keisha and Siobhán in more than two decades.
What Have Sugababes Said About the New Album?
Announcing the record, the group said they deliberately took their time putting it together rather than rushing the process. They explained that as the songs, sound and wider project developed, calling the album Sugababes became the natural choice because it felt “unmistakably us”.
The album artwork also brings things full circle, with photographer Liz Collins returning after previously shooting the cover of One Touch. The new record therefore reconnects the trio with the very beginning of Sugababes while also giving them a completely new collection of songs to take forward.
What Is the New Sugababes Single Ghost About?
Alongside the album announcement, Sugababes have released “Ghost”, one of the 12 tracks featured on the record. The song centres around relationships and the feeling of being unable to fully escape someone or something from the past. It follows the trio’s return to releasing new music together and gives fans another taste of what to expect from the self-titled album when it arrives next February.

For CultureCues, this really does feel like a full-circle moment. We have loved seeing Mutya, Keisha and Siobhán back together over the past few years, and getting an entire new album from the original line-up after all this time is hitting every bit of our early-2000s nostalgia. One Touch was such a defining album of that era, so seeing the original trio back together with a completely new record 26 years later is pretty special. Safe to say, “you’re giving me an overload” feels very appropriate right now.
