If you love talking about the latest films and shows, keeping up with entertainment news or sharing your thoughts on what you’re watching, we’d love to hear from you.
CultureCues contributor opportunities are voluntary and currently unpaid.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You don’t need professional journalism experience or a long list of published work. We’re looking for people who love film, TV, music and pop culture, have a strong interest in the subjects they want to cover and can bring their own voice and ideas to CultureCues.
You might already write online, be studying journalism, media or film, be building a portfolio, or be looking for your first opportunity to have your work published.

More interested in TikTok, Reels or creating social content? We’d also love to hear from people interested in making film, TV, music and pop culture content for CultureCues across social media. This could include on-camera videos, reviews, recommendations, entertainment news, interviews, social graphics or editing.

Your writing sample does not need to have been professionally published. It can be something from your blog, Substack, university or college work, a personal piece, or an unpublished example that shows us how you write.
Social and video applicants can also send links to any previous content they’d like us to see.
