The Box is back tonight, Sunday, 13 September, with the fourth episode of Gary Lineker’s new celebrity competition following last night’s return. The series began with 10 celebrities being driven to mystery locations inside giant yellow boxes before having to work out the challenges waiting for them. Three episodes in, the group is getting smaller, and another celebrity will leave the competition tonight after facing The Duel.

What Time Is The Box Episode 4 on Tonight?

The Box Episode 4 begins at 8pm tonight on ITV1 and ITVX, with viewers in Scotland also able to watch through STV and STV Player. Tonight’s episode is titled “Fortune Favours the Bold”. 

The remaining celebrities will once again be taken to mystery locations without knowing what they are about to face. ITV’s episode description teases a change in the group as the camaraderie begins to disappear and mistrust starts growing between the contestants, before two celebrities face another demanding Duel. 

Who Has Been Eliminated From The Box So Far?

Three celebrities have now left The Box. Graeme Souness became the first contestant eliminated in Episode 1 on Saturday, 5 September, followed by Sara Davies in Episode 2 on Sunday, 6 September.

John Bercow became the third celebrity to leave the competition in Episode 3 on Saturday, 12 September, after losing the end-of-episode Duel against Shakira Khan.

Who Is Still in The Box?

Seven celebrities remain heading into Episode 4: Joey Essex, Jenny Ryan, JB Gill, Danny Aarons, Ranvir Singh, Ellie Taylor and Shakira Khan. With Graeme Souness, Sara Davies and John Bercow now eliminated, another celebrity will leave tonight as the competition continues towards the final.

What Happens in The Box?

Each celebrity starts a challenge inside their own yellow box and has no idea where they are being taken. Once the doors open, they have to work out their surroundings and what they are supposed to do, often with very little instruction. The challenges can involve physical ability, logic, teamwork and problem-solving, while the two celebrities left in danger at the end of each episode face The Duel. One survives and returns to the competition, while the other is sent home.
