Apple TV has released the official trailer for 12 12 12, a new eight-part heist thriller starring Jamie Dornan and Anthony Mackie. The series follows a disgraced FBI agent, played by Mackie, and an American career criminal, played by Dornan, as they become caught in a game of cat and mouse across Europe. At the centre of the story is a major robbery targeting a bank vault hidden beneath the streets of Zurich.
What makes 12 12 12 a little different is the way the story is told. Each episode moves between 12 months of planning, the 12 hours of the heist itself and the 12 days that follow, gradually revealing how the robbery came together and what happened afterwards.
The new trailer gives us the first proper look at Mackie and Dornan on opposite sides of that story, with the robbery stretching across Europe as both men try to stay ahead of each other. Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia and Kali Reis also star.
You can watch the official 12 12 12 trailer below.
Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble created the series and serve as executive producers, while Kari Skogland directs multiple episodes, including the premiere. Dornan and Mackie are also executive producers on the series, which is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content.
The first two episodes will arrive on Friday 13 November, followed by one new episode each week. The eight-part series will then run through to 25 December 2026.
For CultureCues, we really like the look of this one. We love Jamie Dornan and Anthony Mackie, so seeing them lead a series together is great. The 12 months, 12 hours and 12 days structure sounds really interesting too, especially with the story moving between the planning, the heist itself and everything that follows. The trailer looks really tense and fast-paced, so this is definitely one we’ll be watching in November.
12 12 12 premieres globally on Apple TV on Friday 13 November 2026.
