The Celebrity Traitors is heading into its final two episodes, with the penultimate instalment airing tonight, Thursday 29 October, at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. It will pick up from last week’s cliffhanger as King Kenny prepares to cast the deciding vote between Sharon Rooney and Joanne, before the series concludes with an extended 80-minute finale on Friday 30 October at 8pm.

Three Traitors remain in the game: Maya Jama, King Kenny and James Acaster. All three were recently named among the most trustworthy players by the Faithfuls, which is about as ideal as it gets when you are secretly trying to deceive everyone around you.

Sharon Rooney has come closest to putting together something concrete, with her perfume bottle theory potentially linking the Traitors to the murder in plain sight. Whether she gets the chance to push that theory any further may depend on tonight’s opening moments, and things are not looking particularly good for her. Kenny holds the deciding vote after receiving the double-vote dagger, and he had already voted for Sharon before the round table ended in a deadlock, so unless there is another twist waiting for us, she could be the next Faithful heading home.

Maya has faced a little suspicion at different points, including from Sebastian Croft, but nothing has really stuck. James has managed to continue playing as a Faithful without drawing too much attention, and Kenny has the advantage of being a later recruit, meaning the Faithfuls have had less time to question his behaviour.

Michael Sheen has become one of the strongest voices among the Faithfuls, although his influence has also started making some of the others wonder why he is still in the game. With only two episodes left, the question now is whether the Faithfuls can finally piece things together or whether the Traitors are about to walk into the finale with a serious advantage.

For CultureCues, we are fully invested heading into these final two episodes. We cannot wait to see who goes tonight, although we will be gutted if it is oor Scottish Sharon. With Maya, James and Kenny in the game, there is so much that could change before the end. Cloaks at the ready, tomorrow’s finale is going to be a big one.

The Celebrity Traitors airs tonight at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with the finale on Friday 30 October at 8pm.
