We’ll be updating this article live during tonight’s results show as soon as the dance-off and Week 5 elimination are revealed.

Strictly Come Dancing returns tonight for the Week 5 results show, with another celebrity set to leave the competition following Saturday night’s performances. Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita head into the results at the top of the leaderboard after scoring 37 points, the highest score of the series so far, while Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr are at the bottom with 17.

Delta Goodrem also made her return to the ballroom after missing Icons Week because of a rib injury, coming straight back with an impressive 34 points for her Rumba with Kai Widdrington. Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystał sit just above Shaun at the bottom of the leaderboard with 19 points, so both couples will be hoping the public vote gives them a lift ahead of tonight’s results.

Strictly Come Dancing Week 5 Leaderboard

Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita – 37
Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington – 34
John Nellis and Katya Jones – 32
Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley – 31
Will Best and Dianne Buswell – 31
Dani Dyer and Nikita Kuzmin – 31
Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola – 28
Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu – 25
Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu – 25
Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby – 24
Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystał – 19
Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr – 17

Tabby and Mark’s emotional Couple’s Choice put them comfortably at the top, with two 10s helping them reach 37. Delta also made a strong return after missing last week through injury, scoring 34 points with Kai and putting herself right back near the top of the leaderboard.

At the other end, Shaun and Alexis had a difficult night with their Jive to “Faith”, with Craig Revel Horwood calling the performance a “disaster, darling” after criticising the timing and kicks. Anton Du Beke also pointed out that the pair appeared to be dancing different versions of the routine, although Shaun took the comments in good humour and admitted the mistakes were his.

Lacey Turner’s Score Had to Be Corrected

There was also a bit of confusion around Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola’s Tango after the score shown on screen did not match what the judges had actually given them. Shirley Ballas scored the routine a 6, but the graphic displayed a 7, which briefly put their total at 29 instead of 28. Viewers spotted the mistake pretty quickly, and Emma Willis later apologised on air before the final leaderboard was shown, confirming the correct score. Thankfully, it did not change where Lacey and Vito ended up on the table.

Who Is at Risk of Leaving Strictly Tonight?

Shaun and Alexis go into tonight’s results show at the bottom of the judges’ leaderboard, with Lawrence and Jowita just two points ahead of them. That does not automatically mean either couple will be in the dance-off, though, as the public vote can completely change the picture once it is combined with Saturday night’s scores.

Dame Sarah Storey became the third celebrity eliminated last weekend after facing Bethany Antonia in the dance-off, so tonight will see another couple leave and the competition drop to 11 remaining celebrities.

CultureCues will be updating this article live during tonight’s results show with the two couples in the dance-off, the judges’ decision and the celebrity eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing Week 5.

The Strictly Come Dancing Week 5 results air tonight at 7:10pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
