Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger is heading to Disney+ next month, with the hit documentary set to stream internationally from 9 October following its cinema release. The film follows Liam and Noel Gallagher’s reunion and Oasis Live ’25 tour, including rehearsals, backstage access and performances from the comeback. Its Disney+ release will also include previously unseen material, giving fans more from the brothers’ first joint interview in more than 20 years alongside additional live performances.

Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger will stream exclusively on Disney+ internationally from 9 October, with the film also available through Hulu and Disney+ in the US. The documentary arrives on streaming after becoming the highest-grossing documentary feature of the year at the UK and Ireland box office, according to Disney. It also currently holds a 97% critics score and 98% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

What Unseen Footage Is Coming to Disney+?

The Disney+ version will include additional footage from Liam and Noel Gallagher’s joint interview, as well as full performances of “Wonderwall” and “Slide Away”. Fans will also get to see performances of “D’You Know What I Mean?” and “Half the World Away” for the first time, with both included exclusively as part of the Disney+ release.

Angela Jain, Head of Content at Disney+ EMEA, described the Oasis reunion as “one of our defining cultural moments of recent times” and said bringing the documentary to a wider audience with additional footage was particularly exciting for fans.

What Is Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger About?

Created by Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the documentary charts Oasis Live ’25 and Liam and Noel Gallagher’s return to the stage together after years apart. It follows the tour from rehearsals through to sold-out shows, looking at the comeback from both the band’s perspective and through the fans who returned to see them.

The film also features the first joint interviews with Liam and Noel in more than two decades, alongside backstage and onstage access throughout the tour. Away from the performances, it looks at the emotional response to the reunion and the place Oasis still holds for fans across different generations.

For CultureCues, this was already one of the music documentaries we were most interested in, and the added Disney+ footage makes the streaming release even better. Getting more from Liam and Noel’s joint interview is exciting on its own, and the extra full performances give fans a good reason to watch again even if they already caught it in cinemas. After the size of the Oasis reunion, it feels right that the film is getting another big moment when it lands on streaming. Maybe we just want to fly all the way to 9 October.
