Netflix is officially getting into the Christmas spirit, with a new teaser offering the first look at four festive films arriving throughout November and December. The 2026 line-up includes A Dog’s Perfect Christmas, Tyler Perry’s The Gospel of Christmas, Guarding Stars and In a Holidaze, with a new film arriving almost every week from 4 November. The teaser gives us our first footage from all four, including Leighton Meester and Jared Padalecki’s new holiday romance, Maddie Ziegler getting caught in a Christmas time loop and, yes, a Corgi riding a Roomba.

Netflix will also be releasing individual trailers for the films over the coming week, but for now we have the first footage, full casts and release dates for all four.

Netflix Christmas Movies 2026 Release Dates

A Dog’s Perfect Christmas arrives first on 4 November. Based on the novel by A Dog’s Purpose author W. Bruce Cameron, the film follows a family going through a difficult Christmas as a teenager, her grandfather and his basset hound try to keep everyone together. Dennis Quaid, Milo Ventimiglia, Brooke Lena Johnson, Jennifer Tilly, Ethan Loomis, Kathleen Rose Perkins and Mary Steenburgen star, with Thomas Haden Church voicing Winstead. Cathryn Michon directs and co-writes the film with Cameron.

Tyler Perry’s The Gospel of Christmas follows on 11 November, with Fantasia Barrino and Tank leading the cast. The story centres on a struggling pastor who inherits his family’s church in New York and finds himself fighting to save both the congregation and his family in time for Christmas. Perry writes and directs, with Shirley Caesar, Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters, Smokie Norful, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Ann Nesby, Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker, JaKalyn Carr and Dax also appearing.

Then on 18 November, Leighton Meester and Jared Padalecki lead Guarding Stars. Inspired by Katherine Center’s novel The Bodyguard, the film follows a no-nonsense bodyguard assigned to protect a famous action star over the holidays, with romance beginning to complicate the job. Andie MacDowell, Noah LaLonde, Walker Hayes, Toby Sandeman, Rachael Ancheril, Shaun Johnston, Phil Brooks and Ava Max are also among the cast, with Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum directing.

The final film of the group is In a Holidaze, arriving 2 December. Maddie Ziegler stars as a twenty-something who makes a major romantic mistake and suddenly finds herself trapped in a time loop, reliving the same Christmas at her family’s cabin until she works out what she actually wants. Rob Lowe, Graham Phillips, Jackie Sandler and Elias Kacavas also star in Tiffany Paulsen’s adaptation of Christina Lauren’s novel.

The new teaser also includes a few familiar Netflix Christmas favourites from previous years, including Falling for Christmas, Family Switch, The Merry Gentlemen, Hot Frosty, Best Christmas Ever!, The Princess Switch 3 and My Secret Santa, all of which are already available to stream.
