Big Brother delivered another busy Friday night as Pauline Adeyemo became the fourth housemate evicted from the 2026 series, before Gemma Collins made her return to the famous house. Pauline faced the public vote against Rob Stirzaker after this week’s face-to-face nominations, where she received five nominations and Rob received six. It marked Pauline’s third time facing eviction in four weeks, following a difficult few days in the house that included her fallout with Catrin, a confrontation with Rochelle and a formal warning from Big Brother.

When the result was announced, Pauline was evicted and danced her way out of the house as the remaining housemates reacted in shock, with Yasmin left in tears. Her departure also came just as viewers had started noticing some possible flirting between Pauline and Twinks, with fans online joking that there might be a crush developing and some saying they regretted voting Pauline out now that the pair’s dynamic was getting more attention.

Pauline Becomes the Fourth Housemate Evicted

Pauline had been under pressure throughout the week after the face-to-face nominations put her back in danger once again. Lynx, Philip, Rhianna, Rochelle and Catrin all nominated her, with the fallout from those votes leading to one of the biggest arguments of the week.

Despite surviving previous public votes, Pauline’s luck ran out on Friday night and Rob was saved. Her eviction makes her the fourth housemate to leave through the public vote this series, with Charlotte Nott also having chosen to leave earlier in the competition.

There was still plenty happening after Pauline walked through the doors, because Friday’s eviction was followed by the arrival of someone who knows the Big Brother house very well.

Gemma Collins Enters the Big Brother House

Gemma Collins returned to Big Brother 10 years after her memorable Celebrity Big Brother appearance, entering as a special guest following Pauline’s eviction.

The GC arrived to huge cheers and immediately brought back one of her most famous lines, telling AJ Odudu and Will Best: “I’m claustrophobic, Darren.” She also revealed that Jedward, who previously appeared as guests earlier this series, had told her to go in and have fun.

Once inside, Gemma told the housemates they were “all doing amazing”, asked Lynx to cook her a roast dinner and told Rochelle she was hilarious. She also made it clear that she wanted the atmosphere lifted, telling the group: “We just need a bit of fun this week. It’s Friday night!” and asking them to enjoy the next 48 hours.

Her entrance also introduced a new theme, the House of Power, meaning the GC is not just visiting for a quick hello. After Jedward’s earlier guest stint and Michael “Tays” Taylor’s undercover role, Gemma is the latest familiar face to enter the house during the 2026 series.

For CultureCues, we were sad to see Pauline go, especially just as viewers were starting to notice that little bit of chemistry between her and Twinks. The timing is cruel because Pauline also seemed to be coming out of her shell more, and people were only just starting to see another side of her. On the other hand, the GC walking in immediately afterwards is quite the replacement. We LOVE Gemma Collins, “I’m claustrophobic, Darren!” lives permanently in our heads, and we are very ready to see what she does with the House of Power over the next 48 hours.
