Warning: Major spoilers for The Celebrity Traitors Episode 3 follow.
What an episode. The Celebrity Traitors returned tonight to finally reveal the result of that first Round Table, and Richard E Grant’s game came to an early end. We were genuinely sad to see him go, but as Romesh Ranganathan and several of the other Faithful pointed out, Richard had pretty much forced their hand after literally admitting he was a Traitor. The vote was almost unanimous, and when Richard revealed that they had got it right, the Faithful made history by banishing a Traitor at the very first Round Table.
That left Maya Jama and James Acaster needing a new recruit, and they chose Hannah Fry. Her recruitment also meant there was no murder, so both Hannah and Jerry Hall survived the night. That gave the Faithfuls more questions, and although much of the early suspicion fell on Jerry, Hannah did not exactly sail through her first day as a Traitor unnoticed.
Who Are the Traitors in The Celebrity Traitors 2026?
The three current Traitors are Maya Jama, James Acaster and Hannah Fry.

Maya and Richard began the game as the original Traitors before James was recruited as the third member of the group. Richard’s mistakes then put him under heavy suspicion at the first Round Table, and the Faithful followed through tonight by voting him out of the castle. His banishment left Maya and James down a teammate, so Hannah was offered the chance to join them. She accepted, giving the Traitors a new trio and saving herself from the possibility of being murdered that night.
Are the Faithful Already Suspicious of Hannah Fry?
Hannah may be a new Traitor, but a few of the Faithful are already looking in her direction. The fact that nobody was murdered gave everyone another puzzle to solve, although Jerry initially received more attention as the group tried to work out what had happened overnight.

As the episode continued, Hannah also started attracting suspicion. Miranda Hart and Joe both appeared to consider the possibility that she had been recruited, and Bash also had Hannah among the names he was watching. That could become even more important after the second Round Table, where Hannah found herself involved in a tense exchange with Myha’la before the vote.
Who Was Banished From The Celebrity Traitors Tonight?
Myha’la became the second celebrity banished from the castle, and this time the Faithful got it wrong. Jerry received a couple of votes, but Myha’la became the main target and was ultimately sent home. She then revealed that she was a Faithful, bringing the group straight back down to earth after their success with Richard. Before leaving, Myha’la warned the others that the Traitors might be smarter than they were giving them credit for. Whether her final words make anyone look more closely at Hannah remains to be seen, but there are already a few people questioning her behaviour.

Who Is Up for Murder on The Celebrity Traitors?
After Myha’la’s banishment, Maya, James and Hannah returned to decide who they wanted to murder next. They eventually narrowed their options down to James Blunt, Bella and Bash, meaning one of the three could be missing from breakfast in the next episode.
For CultureCues, seeing the Faithful make history by getting a Traitor out at the first Round Table was brilliant, but they were brought straight back down with Myha’la’s banishment. Hannah being recruited has changed things again, and the fact that Miranda, Joe and Bash are already looking at her could make the next episode pretty interesting. Now we just need to know who has been murdered, although James Blunt, Bella and Bash is a horrible shortlist because we genuinely do not want any of them to go.
The Celebrity Traitors continues on Friday 9 October at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
