After a three-year wait, Lupin is finally back, with Omar Sy returning as Assane Diop for another run of heists, disguises and trouble. Part 4 arrived on Netflix this morning, Friday 23 October, and all eight episodes are now available to stream in the UK.
What Happens in Lupin Part 4?
The new episodes pick up four years after Part 3, with Assane still in prison after turning himself in to protect the people closest to him. He has decided that his days as Lupin are over and plans to serve his sentence before eventually joining his family in Senegal.
That changes when a mysterious announcement signed by “Lupin” appears, promising a series of simultaneous museum robberies. The heists go ahead despite increased security, and when evidence starts pointing directly at Assane, he is forced back into the world he thought he had left behind. To clear his name and uncover who is copying him, he has to escape and become Lupin once again.
The new season also follows on from the final twist of Part 3, which hinted that Hubert Pellegrini was still involved in Assane’s story. Hervé Pierre returns as Pellegrini, alongside Ludivine Sagnier as Claire, Antoine Gouy as Benjamin, Soufiane Guerrab as Youssef Guedira and Shirine Boutella as Sofia Belkacem.

There is also a change for Assane and Claire’s son Raoul, with Théo Christine taking over the role following the four-year time jump. Laïka Blanc-Francard also joins the cast for Part 4.
Omar Sy Has a Bigger Role Behind the Scenes
Sy returns as Assane, but he is also taking on more responsibility behind the camera this time around. He serves as co-showrunner alongside Louis Leterrier, with the series continuing to take inspiration from Maurice Leblanc’s Arsène Lupin stories.
For CultureCues, it has been a long wait for this one, so we are very glad Lupin is finally back. We’ve been looking forward to its return, and with all eight episodes dropping together, we already know this is going to be a binge watch. After three years away, let the games begin.
All eight episodes of Lupin Part 4 are streaming now on Netflix.
