Another celebrity will be saying goodbye to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom tonight (Sunday 8 November), as the remaining couples discover whether they’ve done enough to make it through Week 7. Following Saturday night’s performances, the judges’ scores will be combined with the public vote to determine which two couples must face the dreaded dance-off. The results show begins at 7.10pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with another celebrity’s Strictly journey coming to an end.

Saturday’s show saw Dani Dyer and Nikita Kuzmin finish at the top of the leaderboard with an impressive 36 points for their American Smooth, followed by Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita with 33 points for their Paso Doble to Muse’s “Supermassive Black Hole”. Meanwhile, John Nellis and Katya Jones and Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby found themselves joint bottom with 26 points each, although the public vote could change everything.

Strictly Marks Remembrance Sunday With Special Performance

Tonight’s results show will also feature a special Remembrance Sunday tribute from the Strictly professional dancers, inspired by The Monument to the Women of World War II. Choreographed by Lizzie Gough and performed to Peter Gabriel’s arrangement of “Heroes”, the routine will explore the experiences of women during the Second World War, beginning with British soldiers leaving for war. The performance will feature the dancers wearing 1940s-inspired uniforms and workwear, paying tribute to the important roles women played during the conflict.
