Trivium and In Flames are joining forces for a huge UK and European tour in spring 2027, with Paleface Swiss and VOLA completing the bill across every date. The run will bring together two of modern metal’s most influential bands for more than a month of arena shows across Europe, beginning at Dublin’s 3Arena on 29 March before heading to Glasgow, Manchester, London and Cardiff. The tour then continues across mainland Europe and Scandinavia through to the beginning of May.
In the UK and Ireland, Grammy-nominated Trivium will headline with Swedish melodic death metal pioneers In Flames as special guests. The roles reverse in Scandinavia, where In Flames take top billing. Across the remaining European dates, the bands will co-headline.
The UK leg includes a Scottish date at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on 31 March 2027, followed by Manchester’s Co-op Live on 2 April, London’s Alexandra Palace on 3 April and Utilita Arena Cardiff on 4 April. Artist pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday, 26 August 2026 at 9am BST, ahead of the general sale on Friday, 28 August at 9am BST via Trivium.org and InFlames.com.

Fronted by Matthew K. Heafy alongside guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto and drummer Alex Rüdinger, Trivium have spent more than two decades as one of modern metal’s most enduring acts. Breakout album Ascendancy was named Album of the Year by Kerrang!, achieved gold status in the UK and later appeared among Metal Hammer’s greatest metal albums of the century. Their 2025 Struck Dead EP offered an early taste of the new music to come, with the 2027 tour set to mark the beginning of another era for the band.
Formed in 1990, In Flames are widely regarded as one of the forefathers of melodic death metal and key architects of the Gothenburg sound. Across 14 studio albums, the band have developed their trademark combination of twin guitars, melody and heavier metal influences, touring alongside acts including Black Sabbath, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest and Slayer.
Zurich’s Paleface Swiss have become one of the fastest-rising names in European extreme metal, combining deathcore, beatdown hardcore and nu-metal. Their 2025 album Cursed was followed by 2026 EP The Wilted. Danish-Swedish progressive metal band VOLA complete the line-up, blending tech-metal, djent and electronica. Their 2024 album Friend Of A Phantom featured In Flames frontman Anders Fridén.
