Warner Bros. has released a new poster for The End of Oak Street, the upcoming sci-fi horror mystery starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor. Written and directed by It Follows filmmaker David Robert Mitchell, the film is heading to cinemas on 14 August 2026, with J.J. Abrams among the producers.
The film follows the Platt family after a mysterious cosmic event tears Oak Street away from suburbia and transports the neighbourhood to somewhere unknown. As their surroundings become unrecognisable, the family soon discovers that surviving depends on staying together.

Alongside Hathaway and McGregor, The End of Oak Street stars Maisy Stella and Christian Convery. The film is produced by J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, David Robert Mitchell, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper, with Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee and Leeann Stonebreaker serving as executive producers.
The new poster makes the film’s threat much clearer. Earlier marketing kept the danger facing the Platt family partly hidden, but the latest trailer and artwork have revealed that the mystery now comes with a very large dinosaur problem in the middle of suburbia.

For CultureCues, the trailer and new poster make The End of Oak Street look exciting and properly intriguing. With a great cast and creative team behind it, this is very much on our summer watchlist. Dinosaurs in the neighbourhood? Terrible for property value. Excellent for cinema.
The End of Oak Street is released in cinemas on 14 August 2026.
