Peter Kay has announced a final run of live shows before bringing his record-breaking Better Late Than Never Tour to an end. The comedian will perform in Cardiff, Hull, Brighton and Blackpool across four weekends this autumn, with all profits donated to charity. The newly announced dates include evening performances and several matinee shows, allowing more fans to attend while raising additional funds for three charities: The Lily Foundation, Maggie’s and The Be More Laura Foundation.

The Lily Foundation supports people affected by mitochondrial disease, while Maggie’s provides cancer care and support across the UK. The Be More Laura Foundation raises funds for research into brain cancer.

Reflecting on the additional performances, Kay said: “It’s been an incredible four-year tour. I’ve absolutely loved it. If doing a few more shows can help raise money for these overlooked and sadly underfunded charities, then that’s the least I can do.” The charity shows will mark the final performances of Kay’s Better Late Than Never Tour, which began in 2022 and became one of the biggest live comedy tours in the UK.

For CultureCues, ending such a huge tour with a series of charity performances feels like a fitting final chapter. The addition of matinee shows gives more fans the chance to attend, while supporting three important and often underfunded causes. After four years on the road, these final dates should make for an emotional farewell.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, 31 July 2026.
