Channel 4 has confirmed that Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids will return for two more series on More4, following the continued success of the popular Yorkshire Dales programme. Amanda Owen, Clive Owen and their nine children will be back as they continue renovating their historic farmhouse, Anty John’s, with series five and six set to follow the family’s progress as they work towards turning the once-derelict property into their new home.

The renewal comes as Our Farm Next Door continues to prove a hit with viewers, with Channel 4 confirming that the programme has become More4’s highest-rated show in three years. Produced by Leeds-based Wise Owl Films, the new commission will consist of ten hour-long episodes, split across two five-part series.

The programme follows the Owen family as they balance their ambitious renovation project with everyday farming life at Ravenseat, their remote Yorkshire Dales farm. Working alongside local builders and tradespeople, Amanda, Clive and the children have been gradually restoring Anty John’s, uncovering its history and dealing with the many challenges that come with bringing an old farmhouse back to life.

What Can Viewers Expect From Our Farm Next Door Series 5 and 6?

Series five will pick up following Amanda and the girls’ first sleepover at Anty John’s, covering life with the Owens from early summer 2026 through to spring 2027. As the renovation continues, viewers will see the family making further progress on the property, with the hope of finally turning the farmhouse into a comfortable home.

The new episodes will also follow the children’s growing responsibilities around Ravenseat, with Edith, Violet and their sisters opening the family’s cream tea van, while Sid and Miles take on additional farming duties. Away from the building work, Amanda will continue researching the history of Anty John’s, including the life of Anthony Clarkson, a 19th-century Swaledale mapmaker whose diaries offer an interesting glimpse into the people who lived there almost 200 years ago.

Speaking about the renewal, Channel 4 commissioning editor Jayne Stanger said:

“Our Farm Next Door is a joy of a series that holds a special place in the hearts of our More4 viewers. I am thrilled we’re continuing to work with the team at Wise Owl to follow Amanda, Clive and the whole family on their renovation journey and I can’t wait to see whether Anty John’s might ever be finished!”

The new episodes will continue to be produced by Wise Owl Films, which also makes Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives for More4. An official broadcast date for series five has yet to be announced.

For CultureCues, it’s lovely to see Our Farm Next Door getting another two series. There’s something really enjoyable about following the Owens through their everyday family life in the Yorkshire Dales, especially with the beautiful countryside and all the ups and downs of renovating Anty John’s. We’ve loved seeing the family’s progress, and it’ll be great to catch up with Amanda, Clive and the kids as they continue working on the farmhouse. Hopefully, the next two series will bring them a little closer to finally calling Anty John’s home.

Our Farm Next Door has been renewed for series 5 and 6 on More4, with broadcast dates yet to be confirmed.
