Only Murders in the Building is officially heading across the Atlantic. For the first time in the series, Charles, Oliver and Mabel are leaving New York City behind, with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez taking their murder-solving trio to London.

Only Murders in the Building Season 6 premieres on Disney+ in the UK on Tuesday, 8 December 2026. The season will also launch through Hulu in the US, including Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers. Disney has not yet confirmed the full episode schedule or whether the season will follow the same weekly release pattern as previous instalments.
First Look at Only Murders in the Building Season 6
The first-look images give us our first glimpse of Charles, Oliver and Mabel in London, as the series moves away from New York for the first time. Season 6 begins after another successful investigation, but the trio quickly find themselves facing what could be their hardest case yet. Cinda Canning, played by Tina Fey, arrives at their doorstep as the next victim, sending Charles, Oliver and Mabel to London in search of her killer.
The new setting brings them into the home of the cosy murder mystery, complete with another collection of suspects and some very English eccentricity. This time, the trio will also be following in the footsteps of the woman whose true-crime podcast helped inspire their own.
Who Is in the Only Murders in the Building Season 6 Cast?
Steve Martin returns as Charles, Martin Short as Oliver and Selena Gomez as Mabel, with Tina Fey also back as Cinda Canning. Season 6 adds another seriously impressive group of guest stars, including Olivia Colman, Meryl Streep, David Tennant, Nicola Coughlan and Martin Freeman, giving the London-set mystery a particularly strong British cast. Disney has not yet revealed who most of the new additions are playing, so there is still plenty to come as more details are announced. The series continues to come from co-creators Steve Martin and John Hoffman, with Martin, Short and Gomez also serving as executive producers alongside Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith, Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan.

Charles, Oliver and Mabel have spent years getting themselves into trouble around New York, so dropping them into a completely new city should give the series plenty to play with. The guest cast is absolutely stacked, and we are so excited to see what Olivia Colman, David Tennant, Nicola Coughlan and Martin Freeman bring to the series.
