Netflix has confirmed the first major cast for Myron Bolitar, its upcoming Harlan Coben drama series based on the author’s long-running book character. Colin Woodell will star as Myron Bolitar, a former college basketball player whose NBA dream is cut short by injury. After reinventing himself as a sports agent, Myron builds MB Sports around overlooked athletes, only for his work to pull him into cases far beyond the usual contract negotiations. Not exactly standard agent admin, then.
KJ Apa will play Win Lockwood, Myron’s closest friend and business partner, who walked away from family privilege to build something of his own. Diane Guerrero will play Esperanza Diaz, a former professional wrestler who becomes Myron’s right hand at MB Sports.
The series comes from David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Presumed Innocent) and Kyle Long (Suits), who will co-showrun, co-write and executive produce. Harlan Coben will also executive produce through Final Twist Productions, with Greg Yaitanes set to executive produce and direct several episodes.
Myron Bolitar first appeared in Coben’s 1995 novel Deal Breaker and has gone on to feature in 12 books. Across the series, the character finds himself dealing with blackmail, murder and the kind of trouble definitely not covered in the usual sports agent job description.
Netflix has not confirmed a release date for Myron Bolitar, but the series continues the streamer’s long-running partnership with Coben, following adaptations including Fool Me Once, Run Away and I Will Find You.

We always love a Harlan Coben Netflix adaptation, and there is something especially exciting about seeing one of his most prominent characters finally heading to screen. With strong casting now in place and David E. Kelley involved, this feels like one for the Netflix watchlist. We are very ready to see Myron Bolitar in action.
