Netflix has released the official trailer for My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3, bringing Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez), Cole (Noah LaLonde) and Alex (Ashby Gentry) back to Silver Falls ahead of the show’s return on 6 August. The new season picks up after the dramatic Season 2 finale, which left Jackie caught between the Walter brothers while the family faced a frightening emergency involving George (Marc Blucas).

The trailer confirms that George survives his health scare, although his recovery will continue to affect the family. Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) warns that it is something they will be dealing with for a while, while George encourages everyone to stop feeling guilty and get back to living. That advice may be particularly important for Jackie, who spent much of the previous season trying to keep everyone around her happy while avoiding what she really wanted.

This time, Jackie begins trying to put herself first, although her complicated feelings for Cole and Alex are not going anywhere. The trailer sees her return to the conversation she had with Cole at the end of Season 2, telling him that she meant what she said that night. Cole responds that they still cannot be together, leaving plenty unresolved between them. Alex, meanwhile, appears to be putting more of his attention into bronc riding after overhearing Jackie admit her feelings for his brother. Gentry has said George’s health scare helps Alex understand that grief does not always lead people to make clear or rational choices.

As though one love triangle was not enough, Season 3 also introduces Eliot (Naveen Paddock), Jackie’s childhood friend who now works as an intern for her uncle Richard. His arrival brings part of Jackie’s former New York life to Silver Falls, with the trailer showing him suggesting that she does not have to leave that version of herself behind. Cole is not exactly impressed by the newcomer, referring to him as “Mr. Harvard,” while Eliot’s history with Jackie looks set to complicate things further.

Away from the romance, both Walter brothers are taking new risks. Alex continues competing as a bronc rider, while Cole enters the world of drag racing after meeting Mac (Chad Rook). Mac hires Cole to work on one of his racing engines before discovering that he also has a natural ability behind the wheel.

Season 3 will also introduce Hannah (Erin Karpluk), George’s sister and the mother of Isaac and Lee. After leaving her sons with the Walter family and disappearing, Hannah returns to Silver Falls with several damaged relationships to repair, and we are interested to see what her arrival means for the rest of the family.

The wider returning cast includes Connor Stanhope as Danny, Johnny Link as Will, Corey Fogelmanis as Nathan and Jaylan Evans as Skylar. Isaac Arellanes and Myles Perez will also return as Isaac and Lee, alongside Alisha Newton as Erin, Ellie O’Brien as Grace, Kolton Stewart as Dylan and Mya Lowe as Kiley.

Based on Ali Novak’s novel, My Life with the Walter Boys follows Jackie after she leaves Manhattan and moves to rural Colorado following the death of her family. In good news for fans, the series has already been renewed for Season 4, which is expected to arrive in 2027.

For CultureCues, the trailer makes it clear that things are only becoming more complicated in Silver Falls. George’s health scare gives the new season a more emotional starting point, while Cole and Alex add more danger by taking some serious risks of their own. Jackie now has another potential love interest to deal with too, so spare a thought for us poor shippers! At this point, there are far too many options. We are ready for the romance and the drama. Saddle up, the Walter Boys are back.

My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 premieres globally on Netflix on 6 August 2026.
