Netflix has released a new teaser for My Life With the Walter Boys Season 2, and the next chapter of the YA drama looks ready to turn up the heat at the Walter ranch.
Based on Ali Novak’s novel, the series follows Jackie Howard, played by Nikki Rodriguez, as she tries to rebuild her life in Colorado after being taken in by the Walter family. After Season 1 left Jackie caught between Alex’s confession of love and a kiss with Cole, Season 2 sees her return from New York with plenty still unresolved.
The teaser hints at a summer of change, especially for Alex, played by Ashby Gentry, who appears to have grown more confident while working as a ranch hand. Cole, played by Noah LaLonde, is still very much part of the picture too, and his pointed question to Jackie, “Why did you really come back?”, suggests the love triangle is far from settled.
For CultureCues, this looks like exactly the kind of messy, heart-on-sleeve drama fans have been waiting for, with the love triangle only getting more complicated from here.
