Paramount+ has released the first teaser for MobLand Season 2, confirming that the British crime drama will return on 18 September 2026. The 10-episode second season brings Tom Hardy back as Harry Da Souza, the street-smart fixer caught in the middle of the Harrigan criminal empire. Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan also return as Maeve and Conrad Harrigan, with the new season picking up as the family attempts to present a united front while everything around them begins to fracture.
According to the official synopsis: “The Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza, their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer’, must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify. As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.”
Alongside Hardy, Mirren and Brosnan, the returning cast includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones.
MobLand was created by Ronan Bennett, with Jez Butterworth serving as showrunner and executive producer. Hardy and Guy Ritchie are also executive producers, alongside David C. Glasser, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari and Keith Cox. The series is produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
For CultureCues, this is a strong TV update from Paramount+. MobLand Season 1 already had a stacked cast, and Hardy, Mirren and Brosnan returning gives Season 2 the weight it needs as the Harrigan empire starts to crack. The teaser looks tense, with Harry thrown straight back into dangerous family drama and the fight for power only getting messier.
