MobLand is officially coming back for a third season, with Paramount+ confirming the renewal before Season 2 has even premiered. Tom Hardy will return as Harrigan family fixer Harry Da Souza, alongside Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan.

The news also settles questions around Hardy’s future with the crime drama following reports about behind-the-scenes tensions during Season 2. Hardy, who also serves as an executive producer, is now confirmed to remain part of the series as MobLand continues beyond the new episodes arriving this month.

MobLand Season 3 Is Officially Happening

Paramount+ has renewed MobLand for Season 3 following the success of its first season, which became the streamer’s second-biggest original series launch behind Landman. A writers’ room for the third season had already been reported earlier this year, but the renewal and Hardy’s involvement are now official.

Paramount+ has not announced a Season 3 release date or further casting details.

When Does MobLand Season 2 Start?

MobLand Season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on Friday, 18 September 2026. The season consists of 10 episodes, with a new instalment released every Friday through to the finale on 20 November.

Season 2 picks up after the events of the first season, with the Harrigans struggling to hold their criminal empire together as new rivals close in and tensions within the family grow. Harry is once again caught in the middle, trying to protect the family while dealing with threats from every direction.

The trailer sees Harry warning Conrad that the Harrigans are in a “death spiral”, while Janet McTeer returns as international cartel operator Kat McAllister. Johnny Flynn joins as a new gangster declaring that the “fairytale’s over”, and Toby Jones appears as retired police detective Colin Tattershall.

Who Is in the MobLand Season 2 Cast?

Alongside Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren, Season 2 brings back Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan and Ophelia Lovibond.

Janet McTeer also returns, with Johnny Flynn and Toby Jones among the additions to the new season.

For CultureCues, getting a Season 3 renewal before Season 2 has even started says a lot about how confident Paramount+ is in MobLand. Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren are such a strong trio for this world, so having all three confirmed to continue is great to hear. We are already looking forward to seeing how much damage the Harrigans manage to do across Season 2 first, especially with Harry warning that the family is in a “death spiral”. If that is where things are starting, the next 10 episodes could get very interesting.
