This is the moment we’ve waited for. Disney’s stage adaptation of The Greatest Showman is officially heading to London’s West End, with the musical opening at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in spring 2027 following its sold-out world premiere run at Bristol Hippodrome earlier this year.

Oliver Tompsett will return as P.T. Barnum alongside Samantha Barks as Charity Barnum, with Ben Joyce continuing as Phillip Carlyle, Vajèn van den Bosch as Jenny Lind and Malinda Parris as Lettie Lutz. More casting will be announced ahead of the London run.

When Do The Greatest Showman West End Tickets Go on Sale?

Tickets are not on sale just yet, but Disney has confirmed they will be released later in autumn 2026. Fans can already sign up through the official Greatest Showman musical website to receive ticket and presale updates.

What Songs Are in The Greatest Showman Musical?

The stage production brings back all of the songs from the 2017 film, with Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s score including “The Greatest Show”, “A Million Dreams”, “Come Alive”, “Rewrite the Stars”, “Never Enough” and “This Is Me”. The pair have also written brand-new songs specifically for the musical.

Tim Federle, creator of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, has written the book, with Casey Nicholaw directing and choreographing. Alex Lacamoire serves as music supervisor, with the wider creative team also bringing circus, special-effects and illusion design to the production.

For CultureCues, we have wanted The Greatest Showman on the West End pretty much since we first heard those songs, so this announcement is music to our ears. Samantha Barks and Oliver Tompsett are brilliant choices to lead the cast, and hearing “The Greatest Show”, “Rewrite the Stars” and “This Is Me” live at Theatre Royal Drury Lane sounds like a dream. We already know we will be trying for tickets as soon as they go on sale… The West End is about to come alive.
