Fontaines D.C. are coming back to Glasgow for another huge show, with the band announcing a headline date at Glasgow Green on Tuesday, 6 July 2027. The outdoor show is part of a newly announced run of UK dates that also includes Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester and London, with Little Simz and Viagra Boys among the support across the summer shows.

The announcement follows enormous demand for Fontaines D.C.’s 2026 arena tour, with the Glasgow OVO Hydro date among the UK shows selling out. The new outdoor run will celebrate the band’s forthcoming fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, which arrives on 16 October 2026.

When Are Fontaines D.C. Playing Glasgow Green?

Fontaines D.C. will headline Glasgow Green on Tuesday, 6 July 2027. It comes just months after their sold-out OVO Hydro show in November 2026, giving Scottish fans another chance to see the band as they move into some of the biggest headline shows of their career.

The five newly announced UK outdoor dates begin at Blackweir Fields in Cardiff on 29 June before continuing to St James’ Park in Newcastle, Heaton Park in Manchester, Glasgow Green and London Stadium.

When Do Fontaines D.C. Glasgow Green Tickets Go on Sale?

General sale for Fontaines D.C.’s Glasgow Green show begins at 10am BST on Thursday, 10 September.

An artist presale starts at 10am on Tuesday, 8 September, with fans who have already pre-ordered Dopamine Chamber automatically receiving access. Those hoping to secure Glasgow tickets early should therefore check their presale details ahead of Tuesday morning. You can buy tickets here.

The summer dates follow the band’s sold-out 2026 UK arena run, which includes Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and London.

Fontaines D.C. Have a Huge 2027 Summer Ahead

Before arriving in Glasgow, Fontaines D.C. will play two nights at Slane Castle in Ireland on 26 and 27 June, with Hayley Williams, Damien Dempsey and Madra Salach among the support there. The newly announced UK shows then take the band through Cardiff, Newcastle and Manchester before Glasgow Green on 6 July and London Stadium on 9 July.

The run comes as Fontaines D.C. prepare to release Dopamine Chamber, their fifth studio album and the follow-up to 2024’s Romance. The band introduced the record with “Marianne”, while their recent festival appearances at Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic have already given fans a taste of the next era.

After headline sets at Reading & Leeds and such a big run of arena dates, stepping up to places like Glasgow Green, Heaton Park and London Stadium feels like another massive moment for the band.
