Disney has released a new trailer and poster for Hexed, giving us another look at the magical world of Hexe and confirming Henry Winkler and Dan Stevens as the latest additions to the voice cast. The new Walt Disney Animation Studios film follows Billie Doe, an unconventional teenager voiced by Hailee Steinfeld who discovers she has magical abilities. After those powers pull her out of suburbia and into the witch realm of Hexe, Billie is forced to team up with her cautious mother Alice, voiced by Rashida Jones, as the pair begin uncovering family secrets that could change the world of witches.
The new trailer also gives us more of Jodie Foster as Queen Celeste, the ruler of Hexe who will do whatever it takes to hold on to her power, while Walton Goggins voices Beef Roger Crummchuk, a reclusive three-eyed magical cat who ends up working with Billie and Alice. Henry Winkler has now joined the cast as Nigel, an all-knowing but skittish potoo bird, with Dan Stevens voicing Hieronymous, Queen Celeste’s Grand Councillor of the Throne.
Disney has also confirmed a huge number of additional voice appearances, including Brett Gelman, Samson Kayo, Jimmy O. Yang, Ron Funches, Drew McIntyre, Cheri Oteri, Kathy Najimy, Wayne Knight, Alan Tudyk, Randall Park, Bill Farmer, Pat McAfee, Chris Parnell, Sarah-Nicole Robles, Rachel Dratch, Ariana Madix, Kellie Gerardi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Abraham Benrubi and Josh Dallas.

Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand direct the film, with Josie Trinidad co-directing. Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller wrote the screenplay, with Roy Conli and Yvett Merino producing.
For CultureCues, this looks so much fun and has all the big colourful Disney magic we want from a film like this. The new trailer has made us even more excited to see it, especially with Jodie Foster as the villain and such a strong voice cast. We’re really looking forward to this one in November.
Disney’s Hexed opens exclusively in UK cinemas on 27 November 2026.
