Danny and Dani Dyer are heading back to Priory Hill for a new Christmas special of The Dyers’ Caravan Park, with Sky confirming the father-and-daughter duo will return this December.
Currently titled The Dyers’ Caravan Park: A Merry Elfing Christmas, the special will follow Danny and Dani as they attempt to give the park’s residents one huge festive send-off before Priory Hill closes for winter. Their plans include Christmas lunch for 200 people, a nativity, Santa auditions, a grotto and a staff Christmas party, which all sounds very manageable until you remember who is organising it.
As expected, things do not exactly go to plan. Sky says their ideas quickly start falling apart, leaving the wider team scrambling to pull everything together, while Site Director Darren is given the job of writing and directing the nativity with some special guests involved.
The Christmas special comes after the first series of The Dyers’ Caravan Park, which followed Danny and Dani as they got stuck into life at Priory Hill and spent time with the staff and residents. The festive episode will bring them back together again, with Sky promising plenty of mishaps alongside the usual family dynamic and Christmas celebrations.
For CultureCues, Danny and Dani together are always good fun, so putting them in charge of Christmas for 200 people already sounds like a recipe for disaster in the best way. We had a great time with the first series, and between the nativity, Santa auditions and turning a chalet into a grotto, there is a lot here we are looking forward to seeing. This one is definitely going on the Christmas watchlist.
The Dyers’ Caravan Park: A Merry Elfing Christmas will air on Sky and NOW this December.
