Prime Video has released a new trailer for Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2, offering another look at Bruce Wayne’s return to the streets of Gotham. The trailer was unveiled during Prime Video’s presentation at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. All ten episodes will premiere globally on Prime Video on 31 July 2026. Set in the 1940s, the noir-inspired series follows a young Bruce Wayne, voiced by Hamish Linklater, during the early years of his one-man campaign against crime.
Prime Video previously revealed the Season 2 release date and first-look images on 4 June, introducing several familiar Gotham residents who will appear in the new episodes. Edward Nygma, Carrie Kelly and Roxy Rocket are among the characters joining the story as the dangers surrounding Batman continue to grow.

The animated series is executive produced by Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves, with Warner Bros. Animation, DC Studios, Bad Robot Productions and Reeves’ 6th & Idaho producing.
For CultureCues, the period setting and hard-boiled detective tone continue to set Batman: Caped Crusader apart from other versions of the character. The new trailer suggests Gotham will become even more dangerous in Season 2, and we are looking forward to seeing which corners of Batman’s world the series explores next.
Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 will premiere on Prime Video on 31 July 2026.
