The National Television Awards are back for 2026, with some of the biggest names and shows on British television gathering at The O2 Arena in London tonight. Hosted once again by Joel Dommett, the National Television Awards 2026 are taking place on Tuesday 8 September, with the winners across 15 categories decided entirely by the public.

It has already been a big night for I Fought the Law, Gogglebox and Clarkson’s Farm, while Alan Carr was surprised with this year’s Special Recognition Award. Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley has also taken home Serial Drama Performance for his role as Cain Dingle.

One of the major talking points going into the ceremony was the Drama Performance category, which features an all-female shortlist for the first time in NTA history. Sheridan Smith, Vicky McClure, Ella Bruccoleri, Judy Parfitt and Ruth Jones are all competing for the award.
