Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married. The singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end tied the knot on Friday, 3 July, at Madison Square Garden in New York. Outside the venue, MSG displayed “JusT&T Married” across its screens, making the already very public speculation official in the most Taylor-and-Travis way possible. Call it what you want, but the internet was never going to be normal about this one.

A spokesperson confirmed the news, with the couple choosing not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her man of honour, while Kelce’s brother and New Heights co-host Jason Kelce was best man. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, who worked with Kelce on Happy Gilmore 2. The guest list also matched the scale of the venue, with famous faces including Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Jason Sudeikis, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran and Zoë Kravitz among those reported to have attended.
Swift and Kelce’s relationship has been followed closely since 2023, crossing music, sport and pop culture in a way few celebrity pairings ever do. CultureCues does not usually lean too heavily into personal celebrity news, but Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce getting married at Madison Square Garden is undeniably a major pop culture moment. For Swifties, NFL fans and anyone who has watched the internet react to this relationship over the past few years, this was never going to be a quiet little wedding… It’s a love story, baby, and she said yes.
