Nicola Coughlan has given fans a first look at the return of Big Mood, stepping out in a series of striking press images ahead of the show’s season two premiere in London.

The actor, best known for her roles in Bridgerton and Derry Girls, appears effortlessly polished in newly released press shot for the upcoming series, offering a glimpse into the next chapter of Channel 4’s hit comedy-drama. The look was brought together by a creative team including hair and photography by Patrick Wilson, makeup by Neil Young, and styling by Aimee Croysdill.

The image arrives just hours before the official season two preview at the BFI Southbank, where audiences will get an early look at the first two episodes of Big Mood’s highly anticipated return. Taking place on Tuesday 17 March, the event will include a special Q&A with series creator Camilla Whitehill alongside cast members Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West.

Season two picks up a year after Maggie and Eddie last saw each other, having gone their separate ways without contact. When Eddie unexpectedly returns for a wedding, tensions resurface, and Maggie’s chaotic energy once again threatens to disrupt everything.
