Netflix has shared its June 2026 lineup, and the streamer is clearly giving viewers plenty to work through as summer begins. The month brings a mix of new films, returning favourites, documentaries and thrillers, with several titles likely to end up straight on the watchlist.

Among the biggest highlights is Voicemails for Isabelle, starring Zoey Deutch as Jill, a San Francisco chef who leaves messages for her late sister, only for the number to be reassigned to Wes, played by Nick Robinson. The film arrives on 19 June and sounds like one of the month’s more heartfelt romantic picks, with the kind of strange-but-sweet premise that could make it a proper comfort watch.

Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein also lead Office Romance, arriving on 5 June. The workplace romantic comedy follows a powerful CEO and her airline’s newest lawyer as their secret relationship starts to complicate both their personal lives and the business around them. With Lopez back in rom-com territory and Goldstein bringing his usual dry charm, this feels like one of Netflix’s big glossy film plays for the month.

For thriller fans, I Will Find You arrives on 18 June. Adapted from Harlan Coben’s novel, the eight-part series stars Sam Worthington, Britt Lower and Milo Ventimiglia, following a father serving life for a crime he insists he did not commit. When new evidence suggests the truth may be far more complicated, the series turns into the kind of fast-moving mystery Coben fans will likely have on their watchlist immediately.

June also brings the return of Avatar: The Last Airbender, with season 2 arriving on 25 June. The new season follows Aang as he works to master earthbending while the Earth Kingdom brings its own political dangers. Elsewhere, Little Brother arrives on 26 June, with John Cena and Eric André starring in a comedy about a successful realtor whose life is upended by the sudden return of his unpredictable sibling.

The month also brings new seasons of Sweet Magnolias and AMERICA’S SWEETHEARTS: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, giving Netflix a mix of comfort drama and behind-the-scenes reality. On the documentary side, highlights include The American Experiment, the World Cup-focused USA 94: Brazil’s Return to Glory, Trainwreck: Mayor of Mayhem and true-crime film Maternal Instinct.

For CultureCues, June is looking like a strong month for Netflix. Between the new films, returning favourites and a few very bingeable-looking thrillers, there should be plenty to keep the watchlist busy over the next few weeks. We’ll definitely be making room on the sofa for a few of these.

Netflix’s June 2026 lineup begins rolling out from 1 June.
