Netflix has revealed the first-look photos from The Hunting Wives Season 2 and confirmed exactly when Sophie and Margo will be back. Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman return for another very messy, very sexy trip to Maple Brook when all eight new episodes arrive on 26 November 2026.
Season 1 became a huge breakout hit after Netflix acquired the series, spending five weeks in the streamer’s global Top 10 despite originally being available only in the US. This time, The Hunting Wives returns as a Netflix original with a global release, and the new photos suggest Sophie and Margo’s relationship is about to get even more complicated.
When Is The Hunting Wives Season 2 Released?
The Hunting Wives Season 2 will be released on Netflix on Thursday, 26 November 2026, and the good news is that all eight episodes will be available together, so viewers can binge the whole season from day one.

What Is The Hunting Wives Season 2 About?
Spoiler warning: The following section contains major spoilers for The Hunting Wives Season 1.
Season 2 begins a few weeks after that rather eventful finale. Sophie is trying to put her life back together, attending couples counselling with Graham, focusing on her son and attempting to cut Margo out of her life completely. That may prove difficult considering Sophie ended Season 1 by running over Margo’s brother Kyle and dumping his body in a lake.

Margo initially believes Kyle has fled to Mexico, leaving Sophie struggling with the guilt of what she has done and getting increasingly close to confessing. Creator Rebecca Cutter has teased that Season 2 will push Sophie further towards accepting that she and Margo may not be quite as different as Sophie once believed.
The pair begin the season on bad terms, but old secrets and new enemies soon pull them back together. Their already complicated relationship develops into something of an alliance, leaving the question of whether Sophie and Margo are still being hunted or have become the hunters themselves… And judging by the first-look photos, the chemistry certainly has not disappeared.
Who Is in The Hunting Wives Season 2 Cast?
Brittany Snow returns as Sophie O’Neil alongside Malin Åkerman as Margo Banks, with Dermot Mulroney back as Jed Banks, Jaime Ray Newman as Callie, Evan Jonigkeit as Graham and Karen Rodriguez as Deputy Salazar. George Ferrier and Hunter Emery also return.

Several new faces are joining Maple Brook for Season 2, including John Stamos as Chase Brylan, Dale Dickey as Zelda Moffitt, Cam Gigandet as Gentle John Moffitt, Kim Matula as Nadia Kelly and Alex FitzAlan as Lincoln Trout. Branton Box and Angel Reese will also appear in the new season.
Will Season 2 Be as Sexy as Season 1?
It certainly sounds like it. The cast has already teased that Season 2 will feature even more of the explicit, scandalous side that helped make the first season such an addictive watch. Åkerman previously promised “a lot more of everything”, with Snow adding that there is “definitely not less”. The new first-look images of Sophie and Margo make it clear their relationship will remain a major part of the story too.

At CultureCues, we are really looking forward to this one. The Hunting Wives returning with more secrets, murder and Sophie and Margo making each other’s lives infinitely more complicated sounds like exactly the kind of second season we wanted. Season 1 was gloriously messy, and Season 2 already looks ready to take things even further. Sophie may be trying to stay away from Margo, but judging by these photos, we would not count on that lasting very long. Maple Brook, we have missed you.
