Emily in Paris is getting one final Christmas in Europe. Netflix has confirmed that the sixth and final season will arrive on Thursday, 24 December 2026, with a new set of first-look photos showing Emily back in Paris, heading to Greece and potentially finding herself drawn back towards Gabriel once again.
The final season has been filming across Greece and France, with creator Darren Star promising the biggest Emily in Paris experience yet. The new images reflect that, taking Lily Collins’ Emily from city streets and glamorous parties to sunny coastlines and open-air markets as her story heads towards its final chapter.

When Is Emily in Paris Season 6 Released?
Emily in Paris Season 6 will be released on Netflix on Thursday, 24 December 2026, giving fans a Christmas Eve return for Emily’s final season. Netflix has not yet confirmed the episode count or whether every episode will arrive together, although previous seasons have largely been released in full or split into parts. With the date now locked in and filming continuing in France after production began in Greece in May, we should hopefully get a full trailer closer to release.

What Is Emily in Paris Season 6 About?
Season 6 finds Emily facing some of the biggest choices she has made so far, with her career, relationships and future in Paris all coming into question. Netflix says she will enter a new period of ambition and romance, with unexpected work conflicts and changing relationships forcing her to decide what she really wants from the life she has built. Darren Star has also said he wanted the final season to feel bigger than anything before it, using several European locations and making Greece a major part of that final journey.

Do Emily and Gabriel Reunite in Season 6?
The first-look photos certainly suggest Emily and Gabriel will be spending time together again. At the end of Season 5, Gabriel learned that Emily and Marcello had split and sent her a postcard inviting her to join him before he began working on billionaire Thomas Heatherton’s yacht. One of the new images now shows Emily and Gabriel together at an open-air market in Greece, bringing the pair back into each other’s lives after another season of very complicated timing.

Their will-they-won’t-they relationship has been a big part of the series from the start, with Emily and Gabriel always seeming to find their way back to each other. Creator Darren Star has previously said the door between them always remains open, and with Emily’s relationship with Marcello now over, the final season could finally bring Emily and Gabriel back together for good.
What Is Happening With Mindy, Alfie and Nico?
Emily is not the only one dealing with a complicated love life. The new photos also show Mindy spending time with Alfie again, despite accepting Nico’s proposal at the end of Season 5. Mindy and Alfie developed feelings for each other last season but kept them quiet at first, partly because of Alfie’s history with Emily, before Nico returned and asked Mindy for another chance.

By the finale, Mindy had accepted Nico’s engagement ring, but Alfie made it very clear that he believed she was making the wrong decision. The new images show the pair together again, so Season 6 looks set to keep that triangle going right up to the end. Whether Mindy follows through with the wedding or reconsiders what she wants with Alfie could become one of the final season’s biggest relationship questions.
Who Is Returning for Emily in Paris Season 6?
Lily Collins returns as Emily Cooper alongside Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau, Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien and Bruno Gouery as Luc. Lucien Laviscount is also back as Alfie, with William Abadie returning as Antoine Lambert, Paul Forman as Nico and Minnie Driver as Princess Jane. The first-look photos show several of those characters together again across Paris and Greece, with Emily’s fashion remaining just as colourful and elaborate as ever.

For CultureCues, Christmas Eve suddenly looks a lot more glamorous. Emily in Paris has always embraced the fashion, romance, gorgeous European locations and very questionable relationship decisions, and the first-look photos give us plenty of all four. Greece looks absolutely stunning, Emily and Gabriel finding their way back to each other already has us invested, and Mindy, Alfie and Nico clearly still have a lot to sort out. We are not quite ready to say au revoir to this wonderfully complicated group, but if this really is the final trip, we are very ready to see where Emily finally chooses to call home. One last season with Emily? Très chic.
