Netflix has released the full trailer for Season 2 and confirmed that the series will return for a third season before the new episodes have even arrived. Season 2 premieres on Thursday, 3 September 2026, with Theo James and Kaya Scodelario returning as Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass. This time, Eddie is no longer reluctantly caught up in the criminal world. He wants to expand the empire, taking the business beyond England and into Italy.

There is no weekly schedule this time, so viewers will be able to watch the entire season from release day. Netflix originals usually arrive at 8am UK time during British Summer Time, so Season 2 is expected to be available from around 8am unless Netflix announces a different launch time.

The full trailer shows Eddie becoming increasingly comfortable with the criminal empire he once wanted nothing to do with. He is now looking to expand it, putting new pressure on his relationship with Susie and her father Bobby Glass. The trailer makes that clear with lines like “Forge your own path, move away from Bobby Glass” and “Ambition. Can’t be tamed.” There is also plenty of fighting, gunfire, blood and violence as the action moves beyond the English country estates of Season 1 and into Italy. Eddie and Susie face new rivals, new deals and even bigger problems, with the trailer also giving us a proper look at several new characters, including Hugh Bonneville, Maya Jama and Tyler Conti. Who Is in The Gentlemen Season 2 Cast?
Theo James returns as Eddie Horniman alongside Kaya Scodelario as Susie Glass and Ray Winstone as Bobby Glass. Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Daniel Ings, Giancarlo Esposito, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear and Pearce Quigley are also back.
Season 2 adds Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi and Tyler Conti. Maya Jama and boxer Chris Eubank Jr also join the cast.
Has The Gentlemen Season 3 Been Confirmed?
Yes. Netflix officially renewed The Gentlemen for Season 3 on 24 August, meaning Eddie and Susie’s criminal world will continue beyond the new episodes arriving in September. Guy Ritchie said the ambition of the series has continued to grow and described a third season as feeling “inevitable”. Netflix has not announced a release date or plot for Season 3, and casting details are still to come.
There have also been reports linking Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to a possible role in Season 3. However, Netflix has not announced her as part of the cast, so Meghan Markle is not currently confirmed to appear.
