Are Mulder and Scully in the Director’s Cut?
As this is a new director’s cut of the 2008 film rather than a separate sequel, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. The story takes place after the original television run, with both characters having left the FBI behind. Mulder remains drawn to unexplained cases, and Scully has built a new career in medicine, but the investigation pulls them back together.
