Lily Allen’s story is heading to Prime Video, with a new feature-length documentary set to arrive globally in 2027. The as-yet-untitled film will follow Allen’s life and career from her early years and rise as the “Queen of MySpace” through to her recent return with West End Girl. Prime Video says the documentary will offer an intimate portrait of the singer, looking at the sharp wit, candid storytelling and creative fearlessness that made her such a distinctive voice in British music.
Featuring interviews with those closest to her, the film will explore how Allen changed the rules of the music industry and helped pave the way for a new generation of female artists, before moving into acting and later returning with one of the most talked-about albums of recent years. Released in October 2025, West End Girl marked her first album since 2018 and took her back on tour, opening another major chapter in her career.
Mat Whitecross, known for directing Oasis: Supersonic and Coldplay: A Head Full of Dreams, is behind the documentary. Magna Studios and Mint Pictures are producing, while Altitude will handle its theatrical release and worldwide home entertainment rights.
