And action! Charli xcx has released “Camera”, the fourth and final single from her forthcoming album Music, Fashion, Film, which arrives this Friday, 24 July.
The track comes with a new video directed by frequent collaborator Aidan Zamiri and starring French actor Vincent Cassel. Leaning into the album’s film theme, the video places Charli behind the camera as a director overseeing a dramatic set in the aftermath of a fiery car crash, with Cassel at the centre of the action.
“Camera” follows the previously released singles “Rock Music”, “SS26” and “Wink Wink”. Each track has explored a different part of the Music, Fashion, Film world, with “Rock Music” leaning into music, “SS26” turning to fashion and “Camera” now putting film firmly in the frame.

The release continues Charli’s crossover between music, fashion and film throughout the album campaign. She has also been giving fans an early listen through special audiovisual events at independent cinemas around the world, describing them as the “cutest way” to experience the record.
For CultureCues, “Camera” is such a fun final taste of the album. Charli is calling the shots, the video has all the drama and we are completely here for it. Roll on Friday, because we cannot wait to hear the full record.
Music, Fashion, Film is released on Friday, 24 July.
