Daughter From Hell had barely reached the end of its first weekend when Gracie Abrams surprised fans with two additional songs. “Out of Nowhere” and “Love Letter”, both recorded during the album sessions but left off the standard edition, are now available through a limited-time iTunes download.
Abrams announced the bonus edition on Sunday, 19 July, confirming that it would arrive at 6pm PT (2am BST on Monday morning) and remain available only “for a limited time”. She has not shared an end date, so this is one release fans may not want to leave sitting in their basket.
The singer also posted short selfie videos offering very brief previews of both tracks. In her message, she said that hearing from listeners connecting with the new album had made her “heart grow ten sizes”, adding that she personally loves the two songs.
“Out of Nowhere” will already be familiar to some fans. Abrams performed the track during her 2025 live shows, including her Glastonbury set, and clips have circulated ever since. Its absence from the standard Daughter From Hell tracklist was quickly noticed, so an official studio version will be particularly welcome for fans who have been waiting to hear it properly.
“Love Letter” has remained more mysterious. Abrams offered only a short preview before signing off with “Love Letter mwahahaha”, which gave fans very little to go on beyond a slightly mischievous tease.
Daughter From Hell, Abrams’ third album, was released on Friday, 17 July. It follows 2024’s The Secret of Us and continues her collaboration with producer and co-writer Aaron Dessner. The singles “Hit the Wall” and “Look at My Life” introduced the album, which has now been expanded with two bonus tracks.
Making the songs iTunes exclusives gives the surprise an unusually old-school feel in 2026. A download-only bonus edition recalls the days when extra tracks were scattered across different versions of an album, and it means listeners who rely entirely on streaming will have to wait and see whether these songs eventually appear elsewhere. No wider release has been announced so far.
