Netflix has confirmed that the final trailer for Heartstopper Forever will arrive tomorrow. The announcement was shared across the official Heartstopper social media channels alongside the simple but emotional message: “The final ever Heartstopper trailer drops tomorrow.”
And yes, we’re already preparing ourselves.
Netflix has also released a collection of images from the upcoming film, offering another look at Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and the rest of the beloved gang ahead of the story’s final chapter.

Set to premiere on 17 July, Heartstopper Forever will bring the acclaimed coming-of-age romance to a close, picking up after the events of Season 3. Nick and Charlie are still happily together, but with university approaching and major life changes on the horizon, the couple face their biggest challenge yet as they navigate the prospect of a long-distance relationship. It sounds like an emotional final chapter.
The film is written by Heartstopper creator Alice Oseman, who has described the finale as an exploration of “time, memory, love, pain, the changing of the seasons, endings and beginnings” while remaining rooted in what has always made Heartstopper special: “the ordinary magic of our everyday lives.”

The returning cast includes Joe Locke, Kit Connor, Yasmin Finney, Will Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Jenny Walser, Leila Khan and Darragh Hand, alongside newcomers Anna Maxwell Martin and Derek Jacobi.
Connor and Locke also serve as executive producers on the film for the first time. “These characters have meant a lot to us over the years,” Connor recently said. “As EPs, it feels like we can really say goodbye to them in a way that feels the most right. It is bittersweet, but it is also a really nice way of ending it.”

For CultureCues, tomorrow’s trailer feels like one of those moments we’ve been both looking forward to and dreading at the same time. Heartstopper has become one of Netflix’s most beloved shows, and the idea of saying goodbye to Nick, Charlie and their friends still doesn’t quite feel real. The new images already have us emotional, and if the trailer is anything like the film itself, we’re probably going to need tissues nearby.
One last trailer. One last chapter. One last “hi.”
Heartstopper Forever premieres on Netflix on 17 July.
