Strictly Come Dancing 2026 reaches its halfway point tonight (Saturday 7 November), as the remaining celebrities return to the ballroom for Week 7 of the competition. Nine couples will perform in the hope of impressing the judges and securing enough public votes to make it through another week.
Following last weekend’s Halloween special, which saw Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb and professional partner Jowita Przystał eliminated after the show’s first-ever three-way dance-off, the competition is heating up as the remaining couples battle for a place in the next round.
One celebrity will be missing from tonight’s performances. Actress Jaime Winstone has been forced to sit out Week 7 after suffering a torn abdominal muscle, with doctors advising her to rest. Jaime and professional partner Carlos Gu have been granted a bye through to Week 8, when it is hoped she will be fit enough to return to the competition.

Strictly Come Dancing Week 7 Songs and Dances
Tonight’s performances will feature a mix of ballroom and Latin routines, with Bethany and Nancy dancing a Foxtrot to Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love”, while Dani and Nikita perform an American Smooth to “It Had to Be You” by Harry Connick Jr. Delta and Kai will bring some Latin energy with a Cha Cha to Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud”, and Lacey and Vito will perform a Rumba to Coldplay’s “Yellow”.
Tabby and Mark will tackle a Paso Doble to Muse’s “Supermassive Black Hole”, while Cach and Maddie perform a Waltz to “That Ain’t You” by Mulaa Joans. Graeme and Lauren have chosen a Couple’s Choice routine to Peter Gabriel’s “The Book of Love”, John and Katya will dance a Salsa to Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky”, and Will and Dianne complete the line-up with a Quickstep to Maroon 5’s “This Love”.
Strictly Come Dancing Remembrance Sunday Special
Tomorrow night’s results show will also mark Remembrance Sunday with a special performance from the Strictly professional dancers, with the BBC releasing the first photographs of the moving tribute. Choreographed by Lizzie Gough, the routine will be performed to Peter Gabriel’s arrangement of “Heroes” and is inspired by The Monument to the Women of World War II. The performance begins with British soldiers leaving for war, before focusing on the lives and contributions of women during the conflict, with the dancers wearing 1940s-inspired military uniforms and workwear.

Sunday’s programme will also feature a musical performance from Gregory Porter, accompanied by some of the Strictly professionals, before the results of the public vote are revealed and another couple faces elimination.
For CultureCues, it’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through this year’s Strictly, especially after all the drama of Halloween Week. There were some brilliant performances tonight, with Dani and Nikita’s American Smooth being a real highlight for us. It was gorgeous, and we loved Bethany and Nancy’s Foxtrot too. Tabby and Mark also delivered a powerful Paso Doble to Muse, which was another of our favourites. But as we’ve seen plenty of times on Strictly, a good score from the judges doesn’t always guarantee a place in the next round, so it’ll be interesting to see who ends up in tomorrow night’s dance-off. We wouldn’t rule out a surprise!
Strictly Come Dancing returns tomorrow, Sunday 8 November, at 7.10pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
