Apple TV has confirmed that Stillwater will return for a fifth season, with five new episodes premiering globally on 21 August 2026. The Peabody and Daytime Emmy Award-winning animated series will continue following siblings Karl, Addy and Michael alongside their wise panda neighbour, Stillwater.

Based on Jon J Muth’s bestselling Scholastic Zen book series, Stillwater centres on Karl (Judah Mackey), Addy (Eva Ariel Binder) and Michael (Tucker Chandler) as they face everyday challenges that can sometimes feel overwhelming. With the help of Stillwater (James Sie), the children learn how to better understand their feelings through stories, gentle humour and simple mindfulness practices.

The series was developed through Apple TV’s Changemakers initiative in collaboration with awareness and intention expert Mallika Chopra. Across its first four seasons, Stillwater has used breathing exercises and reflective moments to introduce younger viewers to mindfulness in an accessible way.

Stillwater is produced by Gaumont and Scholastic Entertainment. Sidonie Dumas, Nicolas Atlan, Terry Kalagian, Iole Lucchese, Caitlin Friedman, Jef Kaminsky, Jun Falkenstein and Rob Hoegee executive produce.
