The Hunters have had two episodes, several very close calls and, somehow, still no captures. Celebrity Hunted returns to Channel 4 tonight, Monday, 10 August 2026 at 9pm, with all 12 celebrity fugitives still officially at large as the chase enters its second week. The seventh series follows six celebrity pairs attempting to stay hidden across mainland Britain for 14 days in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
After Brian and Lucy Conley escaped a train ambush, Scarlette and Stuart Douglas fled Sunday Brunch with Hunters only metres behind them, and Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu made a dramatic getaway from Craig Revel Horwood’s party, the celebrities have managed to survive the opening two episodes. Tonight, however, Jen Brister and Laura Smyth could be the pair in serious trouble.
Is Celebrity Hunted on Tonight?
Yes. Episode 3 of Celebrity Hunted 2026 airs tonight, Monday, 10 August, at 9pm on Channel 4. The series is currently airing twice a week, with another new episode following tomorrow night. Episode 4 will air on Tuesday, 11 August at 9pm, giving viewers another two nights of the hunt this week. For the full episode schedule and our predicted finale date, CultureCues has a separate guide tracking the rest of the series.
Has Anyone Been Caught in Celebrity Hunted 2026?
Not yet. All 12 celebrities remain at large heading into Episode 3, despite the Hunters coming extremely close to making their first capture more than once.
Episode 1 ended with Brian and Lucy Conley seemingly cornered after hiding in a train toilet, only for Episode 2 to reveal that the Hunters had targeted the wrong train, allowing Brian and Lucy to slip away. Brian’s train escapades have already become one of the more memorable moments of the series.

Scarlette and Stuart Douglas then took an enormous risk by appearing live on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch. The Hunters descended on the studio, with lead Hunter Ray Howard ordering his team to storm the building, but the siblings escaped into a waiting black cab. Hunters even reached the vehicle as it pulled away, only for driver Reza to get them clear.
Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu were hardly keeping a low profile either. The Strictly Come Dancing friends decided to attend Craig Revel Horwood’s party, giving the Hunters another opportunity to close in after intercepting information about their plans. Amy and Carlos eventually escaped through a muddy lake in waders before Amy’s husband Ben helped them get away.
Are Jen Brister and Laura Smyth About to Be Caught?
Episode 2 saved perhaps its biggest cliffhanger for comedians Jen Brister and Laura Smyth. Jen had been booked to perform at a comedy event in Brighton, presenting the pair with the obvious problem of trying to appear in public without immediately revealing their location. They attempted to throw the Hunters off with a masked decoy, but the plan did not keep them hidden for long.

The episode ended with the Hunters closing in and a chase underway, leaving viewers without confirmation of whether Jen and Laura had managed to escape. With all 12 fugitives still at large after Episode 2, tonight’s episode should pick up directly from that cliffhanger and reveal whether their comedy-show gamble has finally handed the Hunters their first capture.
Who Is Still on the Run?
For now, the entire original line-up remains in the hunt:
Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu
Brian Conley and Lucy Conley
Chris Taylor and Toby Aromolaran
JJ Chalmers and Sophie Morgan
Scarlette Douglas and Stuart Douglas
Jen Brister and Laura Smyth
When Is the Next Celebrity Hunted Episode?
Viewers will not have another full week to wait after tonight. Episode 4 airs tomorrow, Tuesday, 11 August at 9pm on Channel 4. Eight episodes make up the 2026 series. Channel 4 has confirmed the opening four broadcast dates, with the later episodes still to be officially scheduled. If the current Monday and Tuesday pattern continues, the finale would fall on Tuesday, 25 August.
For CultureCues, the fact that nobody has been caught after two episodes is making the chase even better. Scarlette and Stuart escaping Sunday Brunch with the Hunters practically at the taxi door was stressful enough, and now Jen and Laura have ended up with the Hunters closing in after a comedy gig. Surely someone has to be caught soon? We will be watching tonight to find out whether all 12 can somehow survive another episode. Let the hunt continue…
Celebrity Hunted Episode 3 airs tonight, Monday, 10 August at 9pm on Channel 4.
